  • Quiet secluded site close to Bicester
  • The closest site to Bicester Heritage (two miles)
  • Fishing lakes on site
What an excellent Oxfordshire site this is for anglers. And walkers. And quiet English countryside appreciators. For friendly and well-maintained Glebe Leisure Park is in a cracking countryside location on the edges of Buckinghamshire and Northamptonshire as well as Oxfordshire and has two fishing lakes on site as well as lots of trails all around. Dogs – and their owners – like this place too, as there are long walks and gravelled pathways with dog waste bins set at handy locations, and it's mighty like too that cyclists will like the gentle and short pedal along to local town Bicester... Any amenities you might need are sorted here, such as a loo and shower block with info room about the surrounding area, a toilet and shower facilities for disabled guests, a chemical disposal point, drinking water outlets and a car park.

What customers say

Well-kept, quiet spot with friendly staff & large sites. Guests love the clean, modern restrooms, pretty fishing lakes, and great dog walks. Convenient to Bicester & Silverstone. Some found shower stalls small with little drying room. Wi-Fi cost & some noise were minor complaints.

Camping pod (four person)

Liked Stayed in Cherry camping pod. Short drive to Bicester and Silverstone. My two kids loved the campsite and they got to run around and play and didn’t seem to bother anyone. Electrics in the pod all good and managed to connect my electric hob at the back. Plenty of room for 3 in the pod (4 might have been tight) with double blow up and single. Rained on last night and managed to keep dry in the pod, always a bonus.

Disliked Seemed to be Ants getting in through the vents and had a bit of a party on our shoes.

Powered grass campsite

Liked Very friendly and helpful staff.
Convenient family bathroom, which is great for families with young children.

Disliked The campsite is close to the main road, making it quite noisy at night.

Pitch boundaries are unclear. When we first arrived, the neighbor had encroached onto our pitch, but no staff handled or resolved the issue.

Powered grass campsite

Liked Warm welcome, nice flat pitch and good proximity to the toilet blocks. Showers were lovely and hot. It was also a treat having the opportunity to access one of the visiting food vans/ ice cream van

Disliked Though lovely and hot the shower rooms were arranged on such a way that it was hard to keep clothes dry.

FHU cement/asphalt travel trailer campsite

Liked It was near to Silverstone

Disliked Feels a ‘run down’ site overall plus pitches are far to close to each other, within touching distance. People didn’t know where to put their caravans etc as no room hardly for their car too. Not very private or safe at all.

Local attractions

Plenty of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafés are in Glebe Leisure's local town of Bicester within a couple of miles, and designer clothes and accessories in the outlet shopping centre Bicester Village. Glebe is the closest site to Bicester Heritage, the first park in the UK for the tender loving restoration care of classic and vintage cars, motorbikes and planes, all on over 345 acres of an old RAF bomber station. The centre's been described as 'a historic motoring fan's idea of heaven' so do speed along there if old engines make your motor hum. Twelve miles from the site is simply smashing Blenheim Palace, given to the first Duke of Marlborough by Charlie 2 and handed down through the Churchill family to reach one Winston some decades back. You really should have a trip... Also within 12 miles are another few British institutions: the dizzying array of arty treasures at the National Trust's Waddesdon Manor; Broughton Castle at Banbury, and days out spectating fast types at Silverstone Circuit.
