Excellent for a quiet break away exploring the Forest of Dean.
Powered grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Absolutely delightful touring park which is perfectly situated for exploring the Forest of Dean. Pitches are spacious and separated by hedges which is nice for privacy and provide good shade.
The facilities were spotless, showers with bench seat and hooks for hanging made it easy to keep my things dry and clean when I took a shower.
Lovely fresh, home made Apple juice is for sale on site and there is a cider maker within 5mins walk.
We'd definitely stay again.

Liked Friendly staff, clean toilet/shower facilities. Small touch of local produce available to purchase on site. Great for bird watching during the morning whilst eating your breakfast. Pitches were roomy with privacy hedges around the pitch. Lovely atmosphere, and very peaceful. Near to the Forest of Dean for exploration.
Disliked Nothing, it was pure bliss and sad that we had to come home.

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked Lovely well kept site with nice big pitches enclosed by hedges. Facilities were amazing and so clean. Joanne was very friendly and helpful and the lovely fresh eggs and homemade apple juice for sale each evening were an added bonus, as well as gorgeous.
Disliked It is a bit remote and a lot of the footpaths were too overgrown to navigate.

Liked Amazing site, everything was kept immaculate. Pitches were lovely and big with nice big hedges betwen Pitches. Owners are very friendly and approachable. Rufus the alpaca was the star of the site and knew his name and came to see us when we called him. Fresh apple juice and eggs on site. And a lovely cider farm in walking distance. You do need a car to get anywhere as it's quite far from shops. So just stock up before you go.
Disliked Couldn't take Rufus home.
