What customers say
This small, well-kept site behind The Thames Head Inn has level, mostly gravel pitches with electric. Guests love the attached pub's great food and friendly staff. It's ideal for exploring the Cotswolds and walking to the Thames' source. Limited facilities, including one toilet/shower, are noted.

Tidy, great value friendly site
Powered gravel travel trailer campsite (small)
Liked Great location. Tidy and well kept. Hardstanding kept mud at bay. Friendly welcome. Good price especially with EHU, shower and toilet. Food in pub was fab
Disliked Loo and shower in one room meant nobody could use the toilet if someone was in the shower. Some road/rail noise

Great little site with 9 pitches and a great pub on site. 👍
Powered gravel travel trailer campsite (large)
Liked Large pitches. Great location. Clean and tidy. Fantastic food.
Disliked Single shower and toilet in the same room, so if shower was in use you couldn't use the toilet and vice versa. But at least the facility was available..

Felt unwelcome
Powered gravel travel trailer campsite (small)
Liked Well laid out site.
Excellent food in the pub.
Disliked Felt very unwelcome on this, our second visit.
I enquired about breakfast - not available to campers, only to people staying in the Inn. As other reviewers have suggested, even offering breakfast rolls - perhaps ordered in advance - would be a hospitable gesture.
But what made me feel uncomfortable was a sign in the foyer proclaiming that MPs of a particular Political Party are not welcome. As I am a member of that Party I felt unwelcome by association as it were and couldn't fully relax and enjoy dinner. Much as I liked the place on our first visit a few months ago, after this experience I doubt we will return.
Other points:
Shower room was grubby so we used our own facilites.
Road noise can be intrusive.
