What customers say
Great location, spacious grounds, beautiful views, and friendly staff. The farm shop and ice cream parlor are big hits. Guests loved the animals, fishing, and chill vibe. Most found facilities clean, but a few had issues with cleanliness and hot water. Some suggested bathroom upgrades.

Lack of pride from the owners
Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked Spacious, and great location with the addition of the farm shop and animals. The site has soo much potential to be a great spot.
Disliked Facilities among the worst weve seen, weve stayed at alot of sites all over the UK and thease are the filthiest, they wasn't cleaned from friday to sunday and we resorted to going to the near by supermarket for the toilet, thankfully we was able to shower off site at a local activity center that we attended to. Also there is no hot water provided at the wash station which makes it abit inconvenient

Probably wouldn’t return.

Primitive grass tent campsite
Liked The views were the reason we wanted to stay here. There are places to fish, nice walk round the site. There are some farm animals that you can see which was nice.
Other campers were very friendly, nice area with nice people and staff. We didn’t venture out of the site as we felt so relaxed there. Chesterfield is full of things to do so you’d have no problem there.
We rang up asking if we could come in our tentbox which was allowed although pitchup said not. So tentboxers don’t worry!
Staff were unbelievably friendly, the ice creams were amazing and so tasty. Great quality ice cream for good prices. There is also a butchers on site with pies, sausage rolls and essentials such as lighters.
There was a birthday party on so we had live music on throughout the day so we picked a great weekend. We could’ve parked further away if we wanted as there is plenty of room however we wanted to hear it. It was fantastic, perfect place for events!
The facilities were good, I saw there were showers. There were also three toilets however one was out of order.
The toilets unfortunately did run out of toilet paper and weren’t all that clean by the end of the night. With the amount of people that were there I can completely understand!! Sometimes these things can’t be helped.
We would 1000% stay here again, again thank you for the staff who were working yesterday. Everybody was so friendly and welcoming😊.

Liked Lovely open site with interesting animals, a farmshop and ice creams. I really like the park anywhere idea. Pretty close to the motorway.
Disliked Facilities were basic, fine, but sadly showers were very dirty. Washing up was cold water only.
