Me gustó We had a fantastic two-night stay at the lodge and couldn’t have asked for more. The lodge was perfect — cosy, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was really well insulated, which made it lovely and warm, and the TV was a great added touch.

Outside, the fire pit and seating area were perfect for relaxing in the evenings and really added to the experience. The staff were lovely, friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.

The onsite ice cream parlour was fantastic, as was the butchers, and the fishing lake was excellent — the perfect way to top off our stay. We also loved being able to go and feed the lovely animals onsite.

Everything was clean and well maintained, including the toilet facilities. Overall, a brilliant little getaway with everything you could need. We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend it!

No me gustó Very little storage in the pods but it’s expected and wouldn’t put me off from going again.

Me gustó Absolutely brilliant stay . Staff so nice and welcoming . Bar and live music was amazing . All under a nicely lit canopy . 100% we will be coming again . Meat from the farm shop was delicious. Thankyou for a lovely weekend x

The check-in process was really easy and straightforward, and when we arrived our Angus pod was ready, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Pots, cutlery, glasses etc. are all provided and tucked away under the cooker, which was really handy.

The beds were nice and comfortable, and we loved the little outdoor area overlooking the fields. We made good use of the firepit and, of course, had toasting marshmallows — because no little getaway is complete without them! 🔥

The onsite fishing was so peaceful, and the highlight for us was watching our little boy catch his first ever fish! 🎣 It was lovely having somewhere outdoors where we could just spend time together and escape the screens for a while.

The butchers shop and the staff are absolutely brilliant. Everyone made us feel so welcome, and the tomato sausages were lush! 🤤

We happened to stay during the opening of the new pub. We had our little one with us, so we didn't get to make use of it ourselves (even though we knew kids are welcome), but the live music sounded brilliant and everyone looked like they were having a fantastic time. I'm sure it will be a huge success.

The shared toilet and shower facilities were well maintained and, as we stayed during the opening of the new pub, they were understandably quite busy at times. We occasionally had to wait, but it really wasn't an issue for us. We took a little portable camping toilet with us, which was especially handy at night with our little one, and we'd definitely recommend doing the same if you're bringing young children.

Overall, we made so many lovely memories with our little boy that we're sure he'll remember for years to come. It was exactly the kind of little break we needed, and we 100% will be back! ❤️🎣

Me gustó Fantastic farm, excellent facilities, hit showers, ice cream and coffee n site plus excellent farm shop / butchers. Will visit again. Calm, tranquil, lovely, peaceful place to stay.
