Liked Would have been nice to be able to review this but when you get cancelled a few days before your stay.....
Disliked Said something about electric issues, we stayed here in 2021 and we had no electric for 2 days as they had electric issues then too. Too many people on site using the electric so it over powers the supply and then causes issues.

From the manager: Hi Heather, Apologies that you didn't get to stay with us. Unfortunately we did have electrical issues on site due to a drop in temperature and an overload on the system. You were offered a refund which you accepted or your stay again with us once the issues had been resolved.
We have only had the park since June this year so were unaware of any previous electrical issues with the park. This problem has been rectified and we apologise again for any inconvenience caused. The last thing we want to do is cancel/move bookings, however some things are not an instant fix.

Liked Lovely quiet site, everything clean and tidy and friendly staff.
Disliked Electric kept tripping out on main board when more vans arrived.Staff had to keep going and resetting trip switch on main board. We had to switch over to gas to run fridge and heating to help rectify problem. So we payed for hook up but had to stop using it because of the problem.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. Apologies for the electric problem we had. Their was an overload on the system from everyone on site probably due to the drop in temperature, which is why we asked people to turn some items to gas just to ease the pressure on the main fuse board. The electricity can run sufficiently when people use low voltage items instead of heaters, microwaves, air fryers and kettles etc.
This has now been rectified with all ehu being downgraded to 10amp.
You were also offered your stay again for free as an apology for the inconvenience but you refused as it was your last night.
Great site. Great price.

Liked Nice friendly site. Great that it allows 3 dogs as we usually struggle to find sites that do. Dog walking area was great. Facilities were good.
Not too far away from chester centre and was a great base for us visiting family.
And the price was fantatstic.
