Settle in for sea views from several corners of the site at Tyddyn Goronwy Camping Park in Gwynedd, in the seaside village of Tal-y-Bont and a couple of miles from the beaut beach at Barmouth. Pods and pitches here are flanked by sea and mountain views, and are within easy walking distance of the village, which has a takeaway and a riverside pub. Even closer is Talybont station, a couple of minutes' walk away and handy for outings to Barmouth beach or north to the peaks of Snowdonia. Showers, toilets and a washing-up area are available on site. The pitch price at Tyddyn Goronwy also includes a free leisure pass to its sister park Sunnysands Caravan Park, a short drive away, to use its heated indoor pool, café, fish and chip shop and other facilities – and you might want to stick around for the spectacular beachfront sunsets too.

Fantastic spot, close to the beach & station, with awesome sea and mountain views. Friendly staff. Toilets/showers generally clean, but some guests found them a bit dated and needing more cleaning in busy periods. Access to sister site fun is a bonus. Occasional noise and pitch mix-ups, but most keen to return.

Liked Great campsite. We went just out of season so campsite was lovely and quiet. Very clean and a great location for everything. Will definitely stay here again!

Camping pod (no pets)

Liked This was a fantastic little campsite,we have just got back from staying in a pod for the weekend.the pod was great a lot bigger than we expected too and it was spotless.
Although the facilities are basic they are clean and meet your needs.
Great little hub just five mins walk away with a bar and a chippy and the ysgethin pub just up the road was lovely.
5 mins walk if that to the train station straight to Barmouth in ten mins.
The last on the campsite was lovely and very helpful.
The only thing I would recommend would be to take yourself an extension lead as the plug in the pod was above head hight by the door so if u wanted to plug a kettle etc in you might have a job without one.
Would definitely recommend and definitely be back.

Disliked Nothing really to dislike.
We got exactly what we paid for

Liked Great location, short walk to the beach, was given a call before we arrived with pitch number and gate code so no messing about checking in straight to our pitch and set up camp, there is a shop, arcade, chippy, pub, all 2min walk down the road,

Liked We loved the campsite and will definitely be back,the pitches were great and the showers and toilets were lovely and clean the staff were lovely.
We tried to book a pod to see what they were like but the dates we wanted were unfortunately unavailable just proves how popular the campsite is.

Liked Returning guests from last year. Called and asked to check in early as the weather was forecast to be terrible. Carol was amazing and agreed do we managed to set up without the rain.

Disliked Great British bank holiday weather!!

Liked Nice clean tidy site. Grounds well kept. Plenty of space between pitches

Disliked Toilet/shower block. Needs upgrade as not adequate size for size of site, shower cubicles tiny....very small overall

Liked Pitch sizes were good and the fact u can see the sea too is amazing

Disliked That there were only 3 showers and 4 toilets in the female block for the whole campsite which the showers weren’t the cleanest , and only 1 dish washing sink for the whole site
