What customers say
Rustic camping vibes with private woodland and meadow spots. Friendly staff, stunning scenery, great facilities like hot showers. On-site bar and pizzas are a hit. Some note a walk to facilities and potential queues during busy periods.

Field unpowered grass campervan or tent site
Liked Liked the site. Very calm and lovely views.
Disliked Check out times seen very early at 10am. We didn't notice this at the time and thought it was later, but managed to pack up tents etc and leave.
The track to get to the site was very narrow and caused problems when meeting cars coming other way. way.

WILD AND WONDERFUL!!
Oak Woodland unpowered forest floor tent site
Liked The woodland pitches were amazing! Providing a wild nature immersive experience. Our pitch was right next to the far field full of horses, llamas and alpacas. We also had a few adorable visitors to our campsite and tent, including a field mouse, robins, blue tits, a chaffinch, and a sneaky nighttime visit from a hedgehog <3 The facilities were amazing, lovely shower and toilet block, and the little bar area served lovely drinks and AMAZING pizza! The staff were so friendly and inviting and we just LOVED our time here! Will be back again for SURE!! I was also amazed at the signal coverage while we were on and around the site, somehow better than the signal I often get back home in our village! We were super close to the river and estuary so enjoyed some natural swimming, we walked to the pub down the trail which takes about 45 minutes and has amazing views along the way. We drove to Harlech Castle and went to Harlech beach which was about a 50 minute drive but SO worth it! We can't wait to come back again soon and explore more of the area <3
Disliked Only issue was that there was no air freshener in the toilets and so on occasion I had to hold my breath due to someone leaving a rather foul smell behind them, haha!

Beautiful location with lots of potential, but not quite as expected
Field unpowered grass campervan or tent site
Liked Lovely location and surroundings, and we really liked the eco ethos behind the site. The bar and stone baked pizza setup looked great too. The male owner and barman were both really friendly and welcoming.
Disliked As a Forest Schooler who loves anything eco, green and a little wild, I really wanted to love this place.Unfortunately, it felt much more crammed in than Instagram suggested, with lots of campers in one large field and pretty constant site traffic. Some of the female staff came across quite stand-offish. Although advertised as dog friendly, the resident dog wasn’t friendly towards ours, which meant we didn’t feel comfortable sitting around the bar area. The compost toilet on our field was also dirty and overflowing.

We loved it and had a great holiday.
Field unpowered grass campervan or tent site
Liked The scenery. The welcome was friendly, informative and helpful. The choice of places to camp. The relaxed nature of the staff. The communal eating, drinking and games area. The other campers were all quiet and there was no bother. Hot showers. Pizzas were delicious. Friendly bar staff. We liked the stone steps and the stone filled pot holes. No massive pressure to check out exactly on time. Beautiful access to the mawddach trail. The site felt safe.
Disliked The bin area was overfilled. (Sunday/Monday)
The toilets, shower and dishwashing area was not big enough for number of campers but I appreciate a new block is being built)
The light didn’t work in the meadow compost toilet and it was not very clean.
