What customers say
A tidy, chilled spot with big, flat sites and a relaxed vibe. Clean loos and showers (in old horseboxes!) get top marks. People love the space, fire pits, and dog-friendliness, especially the secure areas. Less Wi-Fi and signal are a plus for a digital detox. Some faint road noise.

Unpowered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Quiet site, handy wash facilities. Clean and well organised. Great toilets and showers. Nice rural spot. Enjoyed watching the green woodpeckers fledging.
Disliked Turning onto the road is a bit hairy. Would benefit from being wider or a mirror.

Outstanding
Fully-enclosed powered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked Great customer service regarding my booking as I had an issue. This site has the right balance of fabulous showers and flushing Toilets. Which all wonderfully accommodated in an old horsebox, and exceedingly clean. With the fact that the field has no light pollution, wonderful view and amazing sunset and sunrise. There is delightfully very little Internet which I think is actually a bonus as you get to appreciate where you are. We had an enclosed pitch with electric hook up which was fantastic for allowing Teddy the border terrier to mooch around in his own time; also I have to say the wash-up points are amazing with lots of different washing bowls utilised including an old ammo box. The owners are absolutely right on Mark with what they’re offering. The balance of being able to have a little bit of luxury whether having the hobbit house or the other super looking larger enclosed pitch means that this campsite can meet everybody’s needs. All I can say is thank you very much for a relaxing two days and I’m pretty sure we will be back.

Liked We stayed in the enclosed pitch with its own kitchen and shower room! It was really well equipped! I loved that our dogs could be free and need leads that get tangled round the tent ropes!
Disliked No internet and very patchy phone signal!
