Liked Excellent facilities and friendly hosts. Beautiful Pizzas available on a Friday evening for a reasonable price. Water points throughout the site. Made friends with a lovely friendly cat :)

Disliked uneven pitches for non-electric made it so the tent could only be pitched in one direction - the wrong direction for the weather :(

Addressing Your Concerns:
We're genuinely sad to see that you wouldn't recommend us to friends or consider returning, and this is entirely down to your experience with one of our non-electric grass pitches.

We sincerely apologize that your assigned pitch was so uneven it limited your tent's setup direction, especially since this put you in an unfavourable position for the weather. We do our best to maintain all our pitches, but some of our grass pitches can shift and settle over time, and we regret that this impacted your stay.

Moving Forward:
We want to assure you that had we been made aware of the issue with your pitch when you were here, we would have immediately offered to move you to an alternative non-electric pitch to ensure you had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Your comfort is our top priority.

We hope you'll consider visiting us again in the future. We'd love the opportunity to show you the high standard of camping experience we aim to provide to all our guests!

Liked Absolutely everything. Facilities immaculate, well stocked and lots of piping hot water.
Extremely friendly staff. Sharon and David are amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them.
Pizza Friday is a boon, we rarely eat pizza, but it was so good, we had them two weeks running.
We've been caravaning for decades, and this site is in our top 3 sites EVER, and so easy to get to as it's just off of a 'A' road.

Liked We loved everything at Springfields! The wardens, the bell tent, the facilities, everything was brilliant. Lovely surroundings, no noise at night, and staying in the bell tent was fab. We had our own fireplace, loungers, picnic table and parasol. We also had table and chairs inside so we could eat in the bell tent if we wanted or if the weather was bad. We had an electric fire and the double bed was comfy. Lots of lighting options within the bell tent, as well as a kettle and mugs. We had a fab stay.

Disliked The chair beds were a little hard. One of the showers was loose on the wall but not a big deal.

Hearing that the bell tent felt spacious and the double bed was comfy is fantastic feedback for us!

We've noted your feedback regarding the chair beds being a little hard and the loose shower head. We always want to ensure maximum comfort for our guests, so we will certainly look into options for the chair beds and get that shower secured right away. Liked Very large pitch clean and tidy. Bathrooms cleaned daily. They have a little kitchen with a kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer. David and Susan were really lovely and did walk rounds regularly to make sure everyone was ok. Pizza Friday was nice.
