Liked Peace and quiet, good showers ( need token costing 50p but plant tone for a shower around 6mins) two nice fishing lakes to walk around.

Disliked Not sure why key issued to use toilets and shower block, but not a problem. Toilets very clean.

Liked Great spot. Lovely clean facilities, nice pool on site. Fiona was an amazing host, always hard working and nothing too much trouble. We had a flat battery and she came to the rescue on her tractor! Restaurant open for a couple of hours in the evening booking required.

Disliked Didn’t realise we needed a token for the shower (we were aware it was a €1. So tried to put this in the box, unfortunately reception wasn’t open until 9am so make sure you get a token for shower when you check in)

Liked Peaceful location, great hosts who were friendly, helpful with advice on where to go in local area, loved the outdoor shower and compost loos. Everything needed for a break away from it all. Great skies for star gazing around the campfire.

Disliked A little muddy in places due to the heavy rainfall, so glad I took my wellies!

Liked Great little site, lovely clean shire and portaloo. Owners go above and beyond to welcome you. Breakfast baps on request in morning if needed. Fire pit all set up and tub of wood available if needed. Cash and card payment accepted. Great walks nearby.

Liked Nice location, with toilets/shower, water tap. BBQ’s allowed and fire pits available. We used this site as a stopover to Scotland. Very reasonable too.

Liked Small, well looked after site with everything you could possibly need for a getaway. Owners very friendly and conscientious. Facilities clean and working well. Kitchen area with fridge and freezer for ice packs. Nice walk from campsite to beach through forest also you can walk to village.

Liked Friendly campsite, clean toilets, hot showers and good facilities ( kettle/toaster/microwave/fridge freezer if needed). Fires allowed, picnic tables and fire pit/bbq by pitches, lovely views. Very good value. Late departure is helpful for drying out tent.

Liked Lake for fishing (at extra charge), toilets (best toilets are round the back, front toilets are used by the fisherman) and showers, close to York Outlet and park and ride takes you into the city, fire pits and wood available. Great star consolations on a clear night!

Liked Great setting in beautiful countryside, toilets/on site shop/ wood available for a campfire, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely walk in to the Woodchester National trust park from the site. Booked in again for next weekend!😊
