Lovely clean site with exceptional views
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked We travelled here from Derbyshire on the weirdest weathered weekend ever. It was August bank holiday and the skies went from sun and heat to torrential rain and back again but it didn’t dampen our spirits. The ground was of course wet but absolutely no puddles!
The site is located perfectly around 5 minute drive from Newborough village and a 10-15 minute
drive to Newborough beach.
You could easily stroll to the village safely as it has pavement right through and the village has the most amazing fish and chip shop (the cod mother). It also has a pub and convenience store so you are never far away from essentials.
The site has two large fields, one of which spans approx 4 and a half acres which easily housed our family group together. There is also a smaller section for electric hook ups.
There are three toilets and showers on site. I have seen on previous posts a few people suggesting more are needed but given this is a pop up camp site the cost involved must be considered and I believe it wouldn’t be cost effective. The toilets and showered were super clean and well stocked at all times.
Showers are not timed nor are they charged which is absolutely wonderful when you have three children to conveyer through. Showers were always warm and the water pressure was perfect even when all three were in use. You are camping which I think people have forgotten in some of the previous comments.
The site is tidy and clean from the washing up stations to the grass itself. The owners clearly look after and have respect and love for their place.
Owners Terry and Jane have been amazing from booking to leaving. Always helpful and friendly and always at hand if you needed anything. Which for us was nothing but it was good to know they were there incase.
Views are spectacular and the owners would often do checks around the site day and night which was really appreciated.
We are hoping to come back again when the weather is a little less strange. We came as a family group with children aged from 3-13 and they all played safely and happily. The middle age groups particularly enjoyed the little play area, which is located conveniently near the washing up sinks, freezers and showers so as to keep them close at all times.
Thank you Jane and Terry

Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked What a wonderful campsite! We honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
There are so many amenities you simply wouldn’t expect from a smaller campsite. There’s plenty of fridge space, access to electricity, a microwave, and all the kitchen equipment you could possibly need. Everything is spotlessly clean, particularly the toilets and washing facilities, and the showers are fantastic.
It’s incredibly family-friendly, with loads of games and activities for children. The owner puts on lovely little crafts too, such as stone painting, which makes the whole place feel so welcoming and special. You can really tell how much thought and care goes into making it enjoyable for families.
And the views are absolutely incredible! We had a wonderful view of Snowdon and the surrounding mountain range — just breathtaking.
Newborough Warren is only about a five-minute walk away, and the glorious beach is just a little further up the road. The location really couldn’t be better.
It’s such a lovely, friendly and well-kept campsite, with everything you could want for a relaxing family break. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it to anyone, especially families! ❤️

Fabulous stay
Primitive grass campervan, tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Lovely small site with super friendly owners. As a solo lady camper I found this site really safe and relaxing. Plenty of extra amenities like fridges, kettle and microwave if you wanted to use them. Very clean toilets, showers and washing up room. Definitely going again during their short opening season
Disliked That that are only allowed to open 28 days a year due to local restrictions - not the owners choice.
