Liked So relaxing and just so much to enjoy. Not a bad point at all. And the pizzas are amazing fresh made.

Disliked Wasn’t anything at all but if your someone who carnt live without your internet connection then don’t go camping as you struggle to get a connection. But hey,,,, who needs internet when your enjoying a holiday

Liked Our little girl loved the play area. Site was clean and tidy and owner was lovely. Placed us close to the play area so we could see our daughter from our pitch. Food in the pub looked really nice. Swimming pool looked fun and kids loved it.

Disliked Music went on abit late (11.30pm) but it was a Sunday on a bank holiday weekend. You have to pay for the showers. Didn't realise until 10pm and didn't have any change on me.

Bank holiday weekends are always a bit livelier and we often have live music, and we appreciate your understanding with the evening atmosphere. We do offer cash back at the bar for anyone who does not have cash or change for the showers. We do notify guests of the charge for the shower within our Pitchup details. We can't wait to welcome your family back for another visit soon!

Liked Absolutely nothing bar Mark who tried his best to manage a horrific site with bad management

Disliked Absolutely everything. Arrived to an overcrowded site, tents and vans within a meter of each other. We booked hard standing with awning and on arrival was told they didn’t have any hard standing and only grass. No health and safety taken into account. Douglas the owner was dismissive and rude.
The park was run down and over grown.
Pool looked and smelt foul.
Toilet block looked just as bad, didn’t venture in though so may have been a surprise.
If I was to film an apocalyptic film this would be my first choice as a set, nothing needed.
We spend 2 hours on site before finding another site 3 minutes away which was peaceful with fishing and a bar on site.
Wouldn’t take kids either, walked into the bar to 3 blokes on the pool table dropping the c word like it was nothing in front of young kids.
Honestly a horrific 2 hours and so so grateful to the other local site that allowed us on at 7.30pm.

Our grounds are consistently maintained, and our amenities are regularly cleaned, inspected, and enjoyed by hundreds of families every season. Furthermore, we maintain a strictly family-friendly environment across our entire site, including our bar area.As you were only on-site for two hours, we are sorry we were unable to find a pitch variation that satisfied your personal preferences before you chose to leave. As your stay was during January, the winter elements unfortunately mean the grass can get a bit mucky underfoot, though as you noted, the ground dries out beautifully for the summer season.

Regarding the swimming pool, we want to ensure our local community and families can enjoy the facilities alongside our touring guests. However, we do monitor pool capacity closely and will keep your feedback in mind to ensure a relaxing balance for everyone during after-school hours.
