Μου άρεσε All staff are second to none! Helpful, pleasant and accommodating. We had multiple issues as it was our first ever caravan trip. All resolved by help and advice from the staff. The site was exceptionally clean, tidy and beautifully maintained. We only live in leek so not a million miles away, but even so, we felt like we were ‘away’ .
Shower block and toilets were spotless and always available to be used. Well organised and signposted well onsite. We will definitely be back. We had plot 13 which meant our children has room to play aswell as visit the onsite play area and see the goats. Thank you everyone!

Δεν μου άρεσε No food on a Monday at the pub. I understand it must be a quiet evening for food. I never checked before we traveled so it came as a surprise to us. But again I appreciate staff need a night off. WiFi was unavailable at the bottom of the site but again understandable as we were right at the bottom. No negatives for us.

Μου άρεσε The site was very tidy
the views across the valley great
Shower and loos clean
Plenty of hot water and good washing up facilities
And a pub on the doorstep

Μου άρεσε Everything was brilliant, a perfect pitch, great staff both at the campsite and pub
We stayed on our way up to join our daughter and grandchildren at lake Coniston enjoyed the experience so much we booked for the Sunday on the way back and had an excellent Sunday lunch
A special thanks to Kev who couldn’t have been more helpful
A wonderful experience thoroughly recommend the site keep up the great work

Μου άρεσε Very clean and tidy site with grate food in the pub, plenty of walks from the campsite.

Δεν μου άρεσε Not enough toilets and showers for the amount of pitches. The wash rooms are perfect and clean just limited number.

I have read your review and it mystifies me why you have given us a rating of 6 ?
I can only presume this was a mistake as you have given us a Good review!!
I can only think you may have missed our additional Shower Toilet Block + New Disabled shower Block.
We have not had a rating of 6 for ages ??

Μου άρεσε Everything was great from start to finish, the hospitality we received, a very welcoming site. Showers really clean and what can I say the pub was a bonus, good food great people, we’ be back !!!!

Μου άρεσε Lovely site which was clean and good amenities. The staff were lovely and the pub serves good beer and great pub food.

Large pitches, well kept grounds and immaculate facilities.
Staff very friendly in campsite and pub.
Food was amazing, very generous portions.

What a lovely transformation to toilets and showers, love how they’ve been decorated love the sparkle
Had our own water tap
Outside bar
Play area

Lovely food at pub but strange it’s a restaurant and you have to order from bar
