Positiv Large secluded pitches, in a beautiful nature-focused camp site. Facilities are clean and Jenny the owner was friendly and helpful. Added bonus of cheap ice cream in the freezer!

Positiv Nice large pitches, bar and restaurant on site – we had the breakfast which was great. Friendly and helpful staff.

Negativ Could do with more toilets for a site this large. Several times I had to wait to use a toilet.

Negativ Only two showers and one was constantly cold. Also, limited washing up area for the numbers of people staying.

Positiv Peaceful location, great for walks. Pub close by for evening meals etc. Essential facilities, all adequate and functioning.

Negativ Maybe an additional washing up station would be helpful when it is busy – but I'm being a bit picky.

Positiv Beautiful setting, peaceful and close to some lovely walks etc. Very laid back run site – plenty of space.

Positiv Lovely large pitches. Nice and peaceful. Great location. Good food shack and site shop.

Negativ Only one toilet and shower block – could do with more. Although some additional showers were provided, these were very small and difficult to keep you clothes dry – the water was also cold. Therefore, a little pricey for the facilities provided.

Positiv Lovely large deluxe pitches, which included our own private bathroom and a shared utility space. Super little shop, which contained all sorts of lovely goodies – especially the ginger biscuits. Friendly owners, who delivered some Easter eggs on Sunday morning – nice touch!
