Positiv We liked everything about this site, it offers a great deal and is excellent value for money. A level pitch with EHU and tap, the bar, showerblock, shop, pool, fish and chip shop, coastal walks, all very welcome.

Positiv The closeness to Ambleside and modern shower block. The park staff helped us with a van problem.

Negativ Overpriced and touring site all open gravel. Would prefer hedging for privacy. Few showers.

Negativ Didn't like our exposed corner pitch, it would benefit from hedges and the ground around the showerblock was uneven and scruffy.

Positiv Plenty of showers and loos. Nice friendly staff.

Negativ We chose this campsite for the location so it wasn't our usual smaller, quieter site. Pitch was sloping even though big. Need mops and coat hooks in the shower block.

Negativ It was very dark onsite so a torch was essential.
