Positiv The campsite position on the canal edge. The shop and restaurant were helpful facilities. The trees and bushes and general landscaping plus helpful staff, made it a lovely few days.

Negativ Toilet and shower block area needs updating, it’s very worn-out but shower water was nice and hot!

Positiv The site is close to the motorway, Lidls and a train station making it an easy stop if in a Motorhome. The town is very nice too, shops, old buildings and streets. Nice walk along to front to beach and Marina.

Negativ The reception staff and the camp layout, the pitches were very small, no privacy even in October, getting an awning out would be a challenge!

Positiv Large woodland campsite. Restaurant, facilities and reception staff were all good. Easy access to Florence on the bus, takes about 40 mins

Negativ Understanding, that this is a village/resort site, even in October large groups of young people are booked which does not give the peaceful experience we were looking for!

Positiv Nice simple campsite on a clean beach. No frills, the just do clean facilities and nice pitches well.

Negativ In late September the whole area is in close down. Does not detract from nice site but something to keep in mind

Positiv Close proximity to Pisa. (45 minute walk to river) Easy vibe of the site and nice welcome. Homemade pizza cooked fresh was a nice bonus.

Negativ The airplane noisy was quite loud (under take-off route). A very loud and noisy donkey and bugs (but that’s what you get on a farm)

Positiv Nice tree filled site near (5miles) the town of Cascais. Nice feel to this site and facilities although a bit tired worked well. Bus stop outside site.

Negativ Nothing really, although it is windy here, but went to see the waves at Guincho!

Positiv Being able to walk out of the camp straight onto the dunes and beach was a bonus. The site is overall good but not exceptional.

Negativ It is a large camp and in October felt open and devoid of many trees or Shrubs. Pool looked nice but closed while we were there early October.

Positiv The open grass space in the middle (all pitches on the outside edge) with football goal and play equipment in middle, thus easy to watch children play from van. Use of wooden picnic tables was a bonus too. Easy 15 min walk to beach

Positiv Beautiful lakes and feel of the campsite. Very nice local information to support your stay in the local area. Even borrowed a game to amuse ourselves during a cold afternoon. Found the pub at Bannington served excellent food, it was worth the walk!

Negativ The showers are fairly tired. Windows always open. The are adequate but not inviting!

Negativ Number of washing up sinks, only found two. Not obvious either where to empty grey water
