Positiv My second time here! This place is paradise! I stayed here last Oct, and loved it so much I had to bring my partner here (this year). We pitched up at what felt like a quite secluded place under the trees, which felt like we were almost wild camping (but with the comfort of a toilet and showers), exactly the same spot were I pitched up last year. I wanted a place to be able to connect with nature, away from all the modern tech and city chaos! It ticked all the boxes for me! Free roaming sheep are also great, don’t experience that very often! I have recommended this place to some friends and will be staying here again when I travel to north Wales!

Positiv This was our second stay at Tan Aeldroch Farm. It is a truly gorgeous campsite, particularly the pitches by the river will guarantee some of the best night sleep.
The shower facilities were new since our last visit and those showers get HOT which was a pleasant surprise on our cold and damp holiday.

I know there's a few points below but we genuinely love this site and will keep coming back in the future.

Negativ Just missing one star for a couple of very very minor things.

We bought some wood to have a fire and it was just a bit damp from where it had been stored.

We did bring our dog with us and very much appreciate dogs being allowed at the site on leads, however, whilst our dog is good with livestock we weren't expecting the sheep to be grazing in the actual camping field so maybe that's just something to be aware of if your dog is not used to livestock. The sheep are no bother themselves and will stay away as soon as they see there's a dog there but you need to be careful where you step and make sure your dog isn't rolling in any delightful surprises just before you're about share a tent...

The hot tap in the toilets wasn't working. I did forget to mention this while we were there.

Like that its not over developed, its simple and in a great setting with dark skies for starry nights.

The price is fair.

Positiv Just perfect. Was a quiet beautiful spot, basic but all you need including hot showers. Will definitely be back.

Positiv Location was great and a great walk , right on the campsite doorstep.there were five pits we could use , that was good as some places make you pay for that . Logs were a good price. Loved that there was like a small wood with large rocks . Think that would be a great place for kids in summer to make some good games

Negativ Big one I think is some where to put your own waste . Think there should be more gravel areas. As with the weather getting wetter
