What customers say
This scenic campsite offers a peaceful, back-to-basics experience by a river, with spacious pitches and fire pits. Visitors praise the stunning natural beauty, helpful owners, and proximity to walking trails. While basic facilities are generally clean, recent reviews indicate ongoing improvements to showers and a potential for muddy ground in wet weather. Midges can be present.

Liked Beautiful site by the edge of the river. Camp where yup like rather than strict pitches. Decent facilities although no washing up area. Fire pits available
Disliked No washing up facilities. 9pm entrance curfew which is a bit too early

An amazing spot! Loved our stay.
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Great location, fantastic views, loved that the sheep were just mingling around! The loos and showers were basic but sufficient and fine for the price paid.
Disliked Not a dislike but a suggestion - maybe near the entrance or by the facilities there could be some information for local walks and footpaths as phone signal isn’t the best when there.

We will be back!
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked We love staying here. Beautiful location, clean toilets and showers, logs for sale, everything you need - we have not met the host but we have not needed to as everything is clear and well signed.
Disliked We stayed three nights and one night was very, very noisy and we were kept up until 3-4am. Along with others we were able to contact the host/groundsman and the loud groups were asked to leave. The hosts were very apologetic and easy to get in contact with.

Gorgeous hidden away campsite with a lovely atmosphere
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Gorgeous hidden away campsite with a lovely atmosphere, we got a great pitch by the shallow babbling river which was a lovely way to fall asleep! There's a no music rule, plus quiet after 10.30 so a great family campsite for our two young children.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked This site is so simple and pretty, so close to Betws-y-Coed, and easy access for me to go to snowdon and Bala whilst I was there. Everyone camping was friendly and mostly quite. Showers were hot, toilets were clean, water available. I was told of a great dipping spot at the bottom of the camp, which was great, however I likely lost an important necklace down there, has taken away a really truly great experience camping here, owners were great, no need to see them, but contactable and I payed a little extra through the honesty box for their great flexibility. Would love to come back and happily recommend.

Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Stay for 7 nights ariving on a Monday lots of choice of places to pitch tent. Got busy on the weekend but to be expected as it was August. Despite only 2 womens toilets they was clean and well stocked even in busy periods. Location was good for my travel plans. Good signal to be able to make plans for the day. Love the sheep aswell

Great place. Would definitely go again.
Primitive cement/asphalt and grass campsite
Liked Beautiful setting and great location. Lovely river walk directly from the campsite.
Sheep roaming in the fields and plenty of space. We could just pick our own spot.
Would go again.
Disliked There was a huge pile of rubbish at the entrance which ruined the overall look. Some guests were a bit noisy after hours. But most were enjoying the tranquility.
