Positiv We had our own personal hot tub on our pitch overlooking a lake which was amazing.
Great facilities
Food in the onsite restaurant delicious and very reasonably priced too.
Staff friendly.
The last day it snowed heavily and staff were super helpful even offering a nights stays on them.
We will definitely return.

Negativ It is made to be a fanily friendly site. Which it is. But you have to pay for the soft play and trampoline park which I get but would have been sign for guests staying at the site to get a discount as there isn't even a park the kids could go to.

Positiv Lovely clean site. Bistro and farm shop are a lovely touch serving some great bits. Good facilities and love the dog shower facility (although need £ coin to use)

Negativ Sold as family friendly sight booked with friends who have two young kids. They spot the play park driving in. Go to have a play and find it can only be used as part of soft play at an extra cost and at certain times of which there were no more times available. 2 very disappointed kids watching the others play on it outside. Sold as a family friendly site but outside of the "pay even more" facilities (which for soft play and trampolining is absolutely understandable) there is nothing for the kids. It would be good to have a play park accessible to those staying on site available at all times of the day!

Positiv Great place ,very clean staff are great second time we have been here
Love the hot tub

Negativ Booked a meal for 6pm .
Turned up at 5.45 to be told table needed to be vacated by 7.30
Ordered food then they bought my starter and main at same time and didn't bring my disabled wife her starter .
They soon rectified and bought my wife's starter .
Had another drink and at 7.10 we still hadn't received our main meals so we decided to leave .
Manager was great and very apologetic but was disappointed not to receive what we had ordered and no discount offered for our inconvenience

Positiv Like the fact you don"t have to out of the grounds to get food or drink
Pitch was good
Had problems with shower block cold and water cold,but after complaining it was sorted

Positiv Lovely clean site, good size pitches. Hot tub was a great addition.
Toilet block was clean & spacious.
Restaurant/bar had good food & friendly staff.
Well equipped for dogs with good dog walks & areas. Restaurant dog friendly too.

Negativ Only very small negatives! Literally hardly worth mentioning...
Showers were Luke warm. When we stayed it was 0° so a hot shower would have been good!
And more dog poop bins!

Positiv Lovely clean showers n toilets + wash up area and dog wash area (we didn't need but a good idea) we enjoyed an excellent Christmas lunch at the bistro there are walks in the area 1 of which is 30 mins around the moody meadows, a dog field and of course the coastal path, great place all round

Positiv Wonderful place to relax & recharge your batteries.
Private lake view Hot tub was great, temperature was lovely, especially after cycle rides and long walks.
Restaurant dinners were both tasty and plentiful.
I spent too much in the local produce shop, it was amazing and the cheeses were delicious.
Site staff were friendly and polite during our stay.
Shower/loo block was warm and clean.

Negativ would have been nice to have something like a small entertainment area for a quiz, background music, or an social area where you can meet/interact with otherpeople.

Positiv Clean pitch, very slight slope. Lake view depending on motorhome orientation and position with hot tub hut.
Site was well kept and all amenities that were used were spotless.

Negativ Classed as a fully serviced pitch (No4) but grey waste and water were directly in font of the hot tub hut so unless you had an exceptionally long grey waste hose it was useless, the same for the water

Also having a booked a premium pitch, there is nothing else to do unless you pay extra for, no free play area for children. Everything was extra, having paid £154 for two nights then children’s entertainment could have been included.
