Positiv Exactly what we were looking for.
Friends and I wanted a night between 2 days exhibiting at Wiltshire Country fair, away from the packed environment there.
The owner was beyond helpful with directions and assistance.
Lovely well kept compost loo, kettle available, no showers but I knew that in advance.
Sensibly priced for a basic night's stay with the dogs.

Negativ The railings to enter the field weren't ideal, and if on my own 3 gates/rails to go through would discourage me from setting up then going off to walk dogs or find a shop for example - no issue at all once known as would just walk on the way to site.
There was a barking dog right behind tent but it settled well before bedtime.
I would certainly stay again in similar circumstances.

Positiv Great communication from the owner. Lovely, clean campsite, with the cleanest compost loos I have ever seen! No frills, but a really lovely getaway for a night.

Positiv All very nice for a grass field pitch, use of a kettle was nice.

Negativ You can hear the road, but not too bad. (Note, no showers and a compost toilet, which is fine if you are prepared)

Positiv Lovely and quiet only one other family on site. Very helpful owner happy to help and show me around . Fridge and kettle free to use on site . BBQ setup and ready to use as well as chill area with hammock in shade.

Negativ Only down fall not very well sign posted went passed entry gate 3 times had to phone and get directions . It keeps taking u to a indian on the other side of the road

Positiv We had a wonderful stay, and really enjoyed our weekend. The campsite was quiet, yet there is a lovely pub within walking distance and a great Indian takeaway just across the road, giving the best of both worlds.

The setting is beautiful, we loved watching the sheep and horses from our tent.

The owners were very welcoming, and had lots of tips about the local area, which really helped us make the most of our stay.

Positiv This campsite was perfect for us! Julian and penny were very helpful and welcoming but let us use the area as our own. There were an abundance of amenities that we weren’t expecting such as meat grills, fire pit, and horses and sheep! It’s close to many pubs and restaurants but secluded enough that felt nearly wild. We felt extremely safe and will definitely be returning
