Positiv Beautiful site.
Owners couldn’t have been nicer!
So calm, so peaceful, lots of space. Facilities were basic but so clean! Loo was clean, no shower but hot water in the washroom area.
Felt like the middle of nowhere,
Super quiet.
Booked to trial our tent for the first time, owner Richard was super helpful and definitely felt if we needed any assistance we could have knocked and asked!
Easy to find and access!

Positiv Loved the setting, the scenery, the horses (especially holly) and Sofi (the 7yr old) loved the lady Gemma and wants to come back just because of her because she was so kind. We will definitely come back.

Positiv Loved the elevated position on a very quiet plateau of ground which was easy to put pegs in!
I enjoyed a really nice stay and a lot of practical information given in person.
Gemma and Steve were very good when I hit a problem with mobile signal on under Tesco provision. And when there was an emergency, I had to collect my children late evening over 2 nights. I somehow work out how to cater for them (3) after only expecting to have come alone with a crysalis of a solo tent and on a Sunday evening. Lot's of time to help me work it out and I think a genuine check on making sure everything worked well with that on site.
What I really felt good about was letting people be clear about their rules when necessary, which made me feel safe having the children there, due to daily checks.

Negativ The site is perfect for us since my children and I get involved enough in the basics to need other sorts of entertainments like play areas or lots of other children, but some may find that less manageable. Was nice that the children will play better since it is a small enough field.

Positiv Perfect flat 'wild camping' field. So quiet and lots of space for tje kids to run around. The host was so friendly and helpful too.

Positiv Lovely flat field. No set pitches which we liked. Very peaceful, nice views. Great host.

Negativ A bin would be good but we managed okay. There wasn’t many staying when we were there but another loo would Benefit I on busy days.

Positiv Everything, lovely secluded site. No showers. They do have toilets and a lovely field for camping.

Negativ It was a little difficult to find.

Positiv The space was fantastic and the views lovely. Was back to old school “camp where you want” and lots of space to play!
Lovely woodland walk very close.

Negativ Sadly only 1 toilet which could be an issue if busy, there were only 4 units on when we were there so was ok but can imagine if full it would be “in demand”
No bin facilities so you have to find somewhere to deposit your waste, make sure you have good bags as it is going in your car - feel a bin would be a good addition!
