Questo campeggio offre una fuga pacifica e tranquilla con splendidi dintorni e ospiti cordiali e accoglienti. Apprezzati campi spaziosi e pianeggianti, spesso con animali da fattoria. Le strutture sono basiche ma pulite, anche se manca la doccia, ma c'è acqua calda. Vicino ad attrazioni come il lago Ullswater. I proprietari sono molto disponibili.

Owners couldn’t have been nicer!
So calm, so peaceful, lots of space. Facilities were basic but so clean! Loo was clean, no shower but hot water in the washroom area.
Felt like the middle of nowhere,

Booked to trial our tent for the first time, owner Richard was super helpful and definitely felt if we needed any assistance we could have knocked and asked!

Mi è piaciuto Loved the setting, the scenery, the horses (especially holly) and Sofi (the 7yr old) loved the lady Gemma and wants to come back just because of her because she was so kind. We will definitely come back.

I enjoyed a really nice stay and a lot of practical information given in person.
Gemma and Steve were very good when I hit a problem with mobile signal on under Tesco provision. And when there was an emergency, I had to collect my children late evening over 2 nights. I somehow work out how to cater for them (3) after only expecting to have come alone with a crysalis of a solo tent and on a Sunday evening. Lot's of time to help me work it out and I think a genuine check on making sure everything worked well with that on site.
What I really felt good about was letting people be clear about their rules when necessary, which made me feel safe having the children there, due to daily checks.
Non mi è piaciuto The site is perfect for us since my children and I get involved enough in the basics to need other sorts of entertainments like play areas or lots of other children, but some may find that less manageable. Was nice that the children will play better since it is a small enough field.

Lovely woodland walk very close.
Non mi è piaciuto Sadly only 1 toilet which could be an issue if busy, there were only 4 units on when we were there so was ok but can imagine if full it would be “in demand”
No bin facilities so you have to find somewhere to deposit your waste, make sure you have good bags as it is going in your car - feel a bin would be a good addition!
