Positiv Quiet place, had everything we needed for a weekend base, toilets and showers were clean, showers had good water pressure.

Positiv Quiet small site, level pitches,lovely host. Toilets clean , showers excellent. If you want club houses etc not the site for you but if like us you want peace and quiet then it’s great .

Positiv Nice and quiet - not too big - the toilets and showers were clean and adequate. Very helpful owner who advised of local walks and information about local taxis.

Positiv - showers were very clean and you could change the temp to your liking, best I’ve seen at a campsite
- toilets very clean
- nice scenery, enjoyed the horses neighing in the morning :)
- nice and small so was quiet
- easy to access and set up

Negativ - lock on shower door closest to entry door was not reliable

Positiv Probably the most peaceful site I have ever been on, the only sound coming from the horses in the paddocks.
We stayed in a glamping pod which to be fare are very basic but that is absolutely fine, the pod includes electric and supplied is a kettle, toaster and microwave, there is also a panel heater to. The seating area converts to the bed a very big bed at that. The pod is spacious and warm, we were there during a heatwave so it is going to be warm. There’s a seating area outside with patio chairs and table, ample room around the pod for parking.
There’s toilet:showers and wash up area is by the cottage just a couple minutes walk from the pods.they are clean and were not busy but this may be down to the site not being busy while we were there I think there around 12 people on site. There are drinking water outlets around site too. If you want entertainment then this isn’t for you, if you want tranquil and quiet this is the place.
There’s a pub about 20 minutes walk that does food and has sports on tv. Scarborough is 5 minutes in the car and Ehitby about 40 minutes, opt for park and ride if visiting these places as parking is a nightmare.
All in all great spot we will be visiting again.

Maybe a bit of weedkiller on the patio the grass is going to take over soon.

Positiv Quiet, peaceful, very friendly, and all-round very well-kept. As advertised, facilities are basic, but perfectly functional and pleasant to use. Denise is a wonderful host, always approachable, friendly, and happy to chat (despite how busy she is!)

Pitch was immaculate, grass perfectly kept, level and roomy. I don't often revisit sites, but intend to make an exception for this one. Outstanding.
