Positiv I was free to choose my plot, although more choices without electric than with. I liked the openness of the site and facilities were good. A very helpful owner/manager was present. Wi-Fi was good.

Negativ Washing up area looked a bit messy and could do with a bin to put food scraps that collect in the plug hole.

Thank you also for your feedback on the washing-up area. The food-scraps bin had unfortunately been moved to the main waste area opposite, but we’ll make sure one remains beside the sink in future.

Positiv The owner Brendan was absolutely lovely made sure we felt welcomed and if we needed anything he was happy to help. Facility’s were clean and tidy. Lots of space around and a quick walk to a co op, park and pub.

Positiv We stayed for 3 nights in the bell tent at Bromptons Farm.
The tent was in a lovely quiet location, and we had everything we needed inside and out. Everything was very clean, the beds were comfy, and the lamps made for cosy evenings. The stove kept us lovely and warm in the evenings.
Outside we had a BBQ perfect for preparing breakfast. The toilet and shower building was well looked after and comfortable.
A short drive to Bury St Edmunds.
The local pub was a short walk away and everyone was welcoming.
Brendan was a great host, checked on us, topped up the fire wood, and even joined us for a pint in the local and we had a good laugh together.
Would love to return for another visit!

Positiv We had a lovely, peaceful stay at Bromptons Farm. The owners were really friendly and welcoming, which always makes such a difference when arriving somewhere new.

The site is very basic and rustic, but that’s part of its charm if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and away from the hustle and bustle. The pitches are lovely and spacious, with plenty of room to set up however you like, and the facilities were clean and well maintained.

There are lots of cats around the farm, and we had noticed there was some animal mess around our pitch, so something to be aware of when visiting with dogs.

Overall, a very quiet and relaxing spot with friendly owners and plenty of space. A good option if you’re looking for a simple, no-frills countryside getaway. 🚐🐾

Positiv The site was better than advertised. It was the peaceful retreat I wanted with
Plenty of dog walks within walking distance of the site through woodland and the village.
The site owner couldn't do enough to make it the perfect break, even coming on walks with his dog.

Definitely a site for a return visit.

Positiv Brendan was very friendly, he checked to make sure things were okay and keeps the communal areas clean and stocked.

Negativ Off peak (during my stay)the facilities are sufficient, but during busy times one communal shower and 2 communal loos might be difficult

Positiv Lovely host, peaceful land to enjoy a night in nature in, in a wonderful part of the county. Facilities here are great.

Nice and laid back, pitch where you like. Perfect.
