Book it, you won't be disappointed
Meadow primitive grass campsite
Liked Everything about this place. Amazing hosts that really couldn't do enough for you. Even checked if we were ok a few times, went above and beyond. Toilet and shower facilities extremely clean and WiFi throughout.
Disliked Nothing
Leaves much to be improved.
Meadow primitive grass campsite
Liked Location
Disliked Dirty loos. Scruffy workmanship on facilities. General air of shoddy provision
From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet your expectations, although we do want to clarify a few important points.
During your stay, you were our only booking, and the toilets were still cleaned thoroughly twice a day. Cleanliness is something we consistently receive praise for, so we’re surprised by your comments, especially given the facilities were freshly cleaned before and during your visit.
As a brand-new site just two months into operation, we’re still completing some finishing touches—something we’re transparent about. However, many of our guests have complimented the facilities and atmosphere we’ve worked hard to create.
In terms of value for money, we are currently priced at around half the rate of many other local sites, despite offering more in terms of space, views, and amenities.
Finally, we're disappointed to see a poor customer service rating, as we had very minimal interaction during your stay. That said, we’re always available and responsive, and we do our best to accommodate every guest’s needs.
We welcome feedback that helps us improve, but we also feel it's important to correct inaccuracies for the benefit of future guests.

All in a great site for a base camp while exploring.
Meadow primitive grass campsite
Liked Toilets were brand new and as such very clean. This is a brand new site, and is still undergoing set up in some parts.
The field is open and spacious. People operating the site are kind and polite and very available for questions.
Disliked The grass is spiked and riddled with weeds and what looks like old crop. This roughness was not pleasant under foot and has poked a hole or two in the base of my tent ( it's cheap so I don't mind, but others may)

Liked Brendan and Ellie were fantastic hosts. A really nice site. Brendan honestly couldn't do enough to help us, even giving us a jumpstart when our battery went flat. Enjoyed a lovely coffee and a chat after! A really friendly site with a nice village a 5 minute walk away, and plenty of nature to explore. Really well priced and look forward to our next visit!!
Disliked Nothing at all.
Great site with very clean toilets and showers.
Meadow primitive grass campsite
Liked The openness of the site and getting the sun all day.
Relaxed, peaceful site with excellent hosts and immaculate facilities.
Meadow primitive grass campsite
Liked Bromptons Farm is a new site that opened this spring with a large, 2 acre field and no fixed pitches. Farmland surrounds the field and the village of Stanton is a short walk away.
On arrival I was greeted by the very friendly and helpful hosts who live on site with their kids and they kept in touch over my stay to ensure everything was going well.
The toilet and shower area is very new and immaculately clean, and the hosts are working hard to add another shower very soon.
Over my stay I especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of this location, the glorious sunsets and the chilled out vibe that the site provides.
Thank you guys and I look forward to my next visit!
