Positiv: The size of site good size for children to play plenty of activities and variety of places to eat and drink, staff were lovely site clean and tidy

The fishing is definitely a favourite for many of our visitors, with a variety of species like carp, pike, roach, perch, and bream to catch. I wonder what you managed to reel in during your stay?

We’re glad you enjoyed the bars, entertainment (especially for the children), the lake assault course, and crazy golf. A number of new things have been added for this season to keep everyone entertained.

Regarding vehicle movement, we completely understand your concern. While we do not have the land to accommodate cars outside the park, we are always looking at options to improve the situation.

Positiv: The space , my children loved the bmx track .
Plenty of things to entertain children ( unfortunately we wasn’t there for that ) could easily spend a week there as so much to do

Negativ: The shower cubicle s was poorly ventilated so the spaces in the cubicles where you hang your clothes was very wet leaving you with wet clothes

I completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have your clothes getting wet in the shower cubicles. To help with this, we have a delivery of hooks on the way to the park very soon, which will make a big difference in keeping clothes dry and adding convenience during your next visit.

Regarding the toilet waste area and the queues, we completely agree that this isn’t ideal. We are planning to add a second waste pipe as part of our future development to help ease this issue and improve the overall experience.

Positiv: Entertainment for young kids lots to do for the older kids

Negativ: Showers only on for 15 seconds absolutely ridiculous and very annoying they were cold n shower cubicle too small no where to put your things except on the floor which then got wet . Touring pitches have no lights anywhere making it a accident waiting to happen

Regarding the cold showers, we are actively looking into this as we want to ensure no one has a chilly experience unless they choose to! That would spoil anyone’s day, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience.

We listen carefully to all feedback and act where we are able to make improvements. We’ve invested millions into the park to maintain the safety and wellbeing of all our holiday guests and owners, and we are continuing to implement further improvements. We recognise the importance of lighting on the touring pitches and are currently working on enhancing this to ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable.

Positiv: Shows at the club house were included and ok

Negativ: Where do I start.
The pitch I reserved and paid for was in use to which I was told - pick any pitch we have 370 here and I can’t police them all. In fairness this isn’t a big deal I still had the electric hook up I paid for.

The site itself is swarming with tramps that are mostly drunk pre 11am. First day on the train ride there and a guy is so drunk at breakfast time that he was kicked off causing all kinds of fuss in front of the kids.

Facilities claim they have been cleanliness checked, unless that was done by a blind person who can’t smell, I beg to differ.

Our children’s bikes were stolen from the bike rack amount many others

Generally felt unsafe and had to lock my motorhome door at night which I have never done. Plus the ball ache of not even being able to leave your bbq outside when you leave your motorhome in case of theft.

Cars going 20/30 miles per hour across the site


Overall dump and I won’t be returning.

Please know that your safety and comfort are our top priorities. We have a zero tolerance policy for antisocial behaviour, and our Welcome Teams are always here to support and protect our owners and holiday guests. I’m very sorry if you felt unsafe that’s never acceptable.

About the vehicle speeds on site, we encourage everyone to drive at 5 mph or less to keep everyone safe. We’re currently working hard on a range of improvements, including installing more signage to help remind drivers and make the park safer for all.

I completely understand your frustration about the cleanliness concerns and the theft of your children’s bikes. We take these matters seriously and are already investigating these issues to ensure we improve going forward.

You'll be glad to learn that we're already ahead of you on the bins a large order has been placed and is actually on its way to us as I write this! You'll soon see new bins positioned throughout the park.

We also completely agree with your comments about having an on-park shop. I'm happy to let you know it's in the final stages of setup and will be opening very soon. You'll be able to pick up essentials like bread and milk, among many other handy items.
