Ruhiger, geräumiger Platz mit freundlichem Personal (bes. Colin). Herrliche Seenlandschaft, viele Fische. Grundstücke gepflegt. Sanitäranlagen einfach/renovierungsbedürftig, aber sauber/funktionell. Nettles & Pub-Lärm teils erwähnt. Viele Gäste wollen wiederkommen.

Everyone that I spoke to, including you, told me that everything was fine. I can't correct faults unless I am made aware of them.
Telling me one thing to my face and then writing a review like this helps nobody.
On previous Bank Holidays I have had over 30 pitches filled, with no-one complaining about space. This year there weren't even 20 pitches taken (my conscious decision). As I have 26 hookups I don't believe that you would have found a more spacious pitch over the August Bank Holiday.

Positiv Neighbours were nice. Field was well tended.
Negativ Showers 🤢😡. NOT CLEAN. Going mouldy. Hot water took about 10 minutes to come through, then intermittent. Desperately tried to find somewhere else to stay so wouldn’t have to use the shower, but everywhere else full up due to Bank holiday. Shower block definitely needs demolishing and a new one building. Elsan point was disgusting with the “obvious” being smeared round the rough concrete enclosure. You could smell it before you got anywhere near it 🤮. We don’t fish, but lake/pond looked stagnant around the edges and not many access points due to severe overgrowth of grasses, etc. Other than fishing, not much to do nearby without travelling. Only wildlife we saw was rabbits. Will definitely not be going back. Photos of site very misleading until you get to the end of them and then some truth can be seen.

I fully understand the frustration over mobile reception. It's particularly ironic that there's a mobile transmitter 50yds from the shower block. Just to rub salt in, I am also with EE, and I can't get reception from my own tower!!!

Positiv Only a short stay but really liked the open and friendly site . Hot water for showers and washing up. Magnificent walks around the local area lots of wildlife to see and the fishing lake was amazing.
