Ik was niet blij met Everything.
A run down, unappealing, tatty site with appalling facilities….
Not sure how it’s even allowed to be open !!!!!!

Ik was blij met Quiet and friendly site. Pitch allowed car/camper plus owning and 4 adults.
Other sites are stingy and ask to pay for a small additional tent/awning/trailer and charge if more than two people stay. Nice clean lake Albeit small one was full of growth. We liked the maintained path around the big lake. Very friendly staff (Dave if I remember him correctly) showing us different pitch locations where we could park our campervan. Nice hot water in showers and washing area. Toilet rolls were nicely placed in roll holders stand/stacks; unlike sites where rolls then tend to fall onto wet floor and waste the toile rolls. One of the helping hands gave us directions to places of interest and natural beauty. Some other sites lack this service. Would have been nice if there were leaflets or fixed map marking their locations.

Ik was niet blij met Departure should be extended to 1 pm.
Arrival should be extended up to 9 pm.
Pitches boundary could be marked so that people park within their pitch boundary and not encroach on others pitch.

Being a gentleman, I suggest that there is a separate toilet facility for women. Some arrogant and inconsiderate men especially male children tend not to lift the seat when they pee.

For campervan users consider facilitating occupied/reserved sign when the pitch is booked for more than one day so that the occupiers can drive away and be able to return to the same pitch. In our case we just put up a tiny beach shelter/tent.

Ik was blij met Everything about ashleigh lakes is so peaceful and quiet a very lovely place lake is good fishing and plenty of wildlife the people are so nice cannot fault it at all cannot wait for the other lake to be sorted will be going again thanks to Dave and Tina and Alf

Ik was blij met Everything. It's basic but has everything you need in one place. The people are super friendly and helpful. Incredible value for money. The kids has the best time fishing all day everyday.

Ik was blij met Came here for a 2 night camping trip with friends, the owner was absolutely lovely and really helpful 🙏🏻 the fishing was really fun too, caught 10 fish in a hour! Overall so so pleased with the place, the stars are beautiful at night and the nature was such a nice view in the morning🩷 thank you so much

Ik was blij met A very beautiful and peaceful campsite. Everything was clean, tidy and well looked after. The owner regularly checked to make sure everything was okay and that we had everything we needed. We really appreciated the friendly atmosphere and enjoyed our stay.

Ik was niet blij met On Sunday morning the campsite was peaceful and quiet, with most guests still asleep. As this was our second year staying here, we know that a man lives permanently in a caravan hidden among the bushes at the edge of the campsite. Unfortunately, early on Sunday morning he decided to leave on his motorcycle. The loud engine woke many of the campers, including us. It was quite disappointing and spoiled the peaceful atmosphere. It gave us the impression that permanent residents were being prioritised over paying guests, when it should really be the other way around.

It's strange that you said it woke up many of the campers: but nobody else has complained. Just saying!

Ik was blij met Quiet place just right for a relaxing break. Loads of birds to see and hear in the trees - Alf the owner is so attentive and helpful and a bonus is a small fishing lake you can ask to fish that’s full of fish too.
