Positiv It was not busy. lovley rolling country with belting sheep and nearby river.

Negativ toilets and showers are very basic. but clean.

It would be nice of the owners put a bench or something next to the river.
It would have been nice to park in the field over looking the river but access for a motor home would not be possible.

We have 3 picnic benches in the upper section of the campsite overlooking the river. Sadly we have had them stolen and or damaged by the river previously so have had to place them where they can be seen.
In response to your claim that the loos are portaloos, this isn't correct. Both toilets are mains and flush into septic tank. We have 3 hot showers also.

Our campsite is very quiet and rural. It suits people looking for a retreat in a beautiful meadow where they enjoy the beauty of nature. We're so pleased that you said that facilities were clean and that we were friendly. This means a great deal to us. Sorry you think its basic but that's what it is.

Positiv The area was very peaceful, and I loved watching the sheep on the other side of the river. The river itself was very relaxing. Toilets were clean. Owner was very welcoming and friendly.

Negativ On the website, it has lots of activities marked that are around, but unless you drive you can't get to it very easily, especially if one of you can't walk long distances and it's difficult to get a taxi company to come to the site.

Positiv Great location for my needs (Silverstone racetrack). Nice plot, quite and excellent price! Friendly welcome and I’ll definitely come back.

Negativ Some of the field was a little overgrown spiked weeds but honestly this didn’t bother me, it may bother others (small kids for sure) but this isn’t really a dislike, more a suggestion just to try and keep the field mowed I guess.

Positiv Nice site with good ground for pitching a tent, lovely owner who answered my questions promptly and friendly.

Negativ One toilet so was busy for the site and two outdoor shower cubicles one indoor porta shower. This wasnt a huge issue but more toilets and indoor or porta showers would be better.

Positiv Spacious, Jay was very pleasant and helpfull , plenty of space for the kids to be kids , eady to find and only 15 mins from go outdoors if you have forgot something like I did

Negativ The weather for that weekend (not camps fault obviously) , the woodland being closed off due to dead fall (not camps fault) .

Positiv Great little find for my overnight stop. Everything clean and well kept
Fantastic value for money too. I will return as I want to explore the beautiful town off Buckingham which is close by

Positiv Three showers and one working fully flushing toilet. Large cold water sink/water point.

Used two of them, one lovely warm and with hooks others were more exposed and no hooks to hang things from to keep drier.

In a nice spot for what we wanted near by (within 30 mins drive)

Liked the fact offered rubbish disposal area and recycling area to encourage recycling.

Clean facilities and regularly kept clean and stocked with toilet paper etc.

Negativ Only one toilet which at times meant had to queue and with small children sometimes desperate to go not ideal.

Only cold water to wash dishes with. But can boil up so minor point.

Only hooks on one shower for hanging towels etc from.

Positiv Basic, well kept site, lovely spot by the river. Great for nature lovers. Jay went above and beyond for us which was much appreciated and took our stopover up a notch. :)
