Syntes ikke om The toilets were never cleaned and stuff broken,slide in the pool not working cos there understaffed so they didn’t run it no lockers working ice cream van outside no whippy ice cream paddle boats broken so couldn’t use the staff they did have useless told no coffee in the lake house to find they did the lad didn’t wanna make them the app to book stuff didn’t work most things weren’t on it was horrendous interactive darts the darts boards didn’t work either tbh waste of money nothing fixed looks like it’s mega understaffed

Syntes om The only thing i liked was it was close enough to walk to a decent pub

Syntes ikke om The campsite itself was very un kept, the pitches were not up to standard, the electric hook up was falling down so very unstable. The pitch itself had a lot of potholes in it, so when we reversed on to our pitch it was scraping on our exhaust , the bin area was very untidy and the toilets and showers could do with improving

Syntes ikke om Everything needed to be booked by phone app, pool slide not working, bike hie shut, train broken down, bar service slow. On the whole a bit disappointing after a 3 hour drive and we were even put on the wrong pitches

We understand that when several things don’t go to plan, they can quickly put a dampener on a holiday.

Our activities do need to be booked in advance and can be booked 2 weeks before your arrival. We shout this from the rooftops through our website, email communications and social media, so guests have plenty of opportunity to plan their stay and book the activities they would like to enjoy.

Swimming pool. Locker keys and heating.
So things need cleaning.
There was a member of staff sat in the toilet block just chilling on his phone all day.

We’ve also taken on board your comments regarding the new toilet locks and signage, as well as your concerns about the swimming pool lockers, heating and areas that may need some additional cleaning.

Syntes om The entertainment available and activities were great, good sized touring pitches, easy check in. Loved the Alpacha feeding. Liked the security around the touring pitches.

Syntes ikke om Hard to find the right Shell duck. The maps didn't give much help. There needs to be more toilet facilities by Shell duck 5 and the tents. Definitely not enough and cold water most of the time. The shop could sell more and be bigger as it's for the whole site, and there are no souvenirs, no fridge magnets or much merchandise.

Syntes ikke om But the whole park was so tired with lots of health and saftey issues. For example in the entertainment arena bench’s were broken , stone slabs were lose.

The toilet blokes had broken taps, loose shower heads

The paths around the park in places were not suitable for children’s buggy’s as it was loose stones rather than tarmac paths ,

Lack of staff in the restaurant meant really long ques and wait times

No aqua park working on the water


One day there was a tramp drunk on one of the benches by the ice cream and pizza van

Shame as we had thought your park looked promising online and we feel we should have spent our money else where in a safer environment

Regarding the Aqua Park, unfortunately this was unable to operate due to low water levels following the hot weather we have been experiencing recently. We appreciate this was disappointing if it was something you had been looking forward to.

We’re also sorry to hear about your experience in the restaurant and the behaviour you witnessed on park. While we cannot control the individual behaviour of guests, our teams are on hand and will deal with issues where they are observed.

We’re continuing to invest in and improve the park, and we’ll take your feedback on board. It’s in our nature to roll up our sleeves, keep improving and get the job done.

Syntes ikke om We hadden deze camping uitgezocht op de vele faciliteiten, echter hebben we van niets gebruik gemaakt. Alles was zo vies! Hele vieze douches en toiletten, waterpark was vies, afvalcontainers waren overvol etc. Ook de sfeer op de camping voelde niet fijn en we werden door het personeel ook niet vriendelijk ontvangen. Geen aanrader!

Our park teams work hard from early in the morning until late into the night to keep our toilet and shower facilities clean, and we are sorry that this was not reflected during your stay. We also take concerns around overflowing bins, cleanliness and the general atmosphere on park seriously.

Syntes om Lots to do for children, with many activities free. Children's play areas are safe. Children could not stop going on the train ride.

Syntes om The Venue,circus, alpacas and everything for kids were great though not very much for 2 year olds to do. The camping facilities as in toilets and showers were plenty and the actual pitch was pretty big.

Syntes ikke om Pitches were big but quite stony and probably due to no rain very hard. The tent area was right at the back so a good 10 minute walk ( with no pathway) to the Venue and other activities. The soft play area was good but not supervised and a load of teenagers were fooling around in there when we took our young grandson to play.
