Lady's Mile Holiday Park

Em va agradar Very disappointing and definitely not worth the price. We paid over £230 for three nights during the bank holiday. The campsite was overcrowded, the facilities were old, and the swimming pool was tiny.

The pitches were very steep and uneven, making it difficult to pitch our tent properly or even place our tables on a level surface. It was also very noisy at night, with people shouting and arguing and groups of teenagers gathering around the site. Some were messing around in the toilets and trying to scare people, which made us feel uncomfortable.

Far too expensive for the quality and experience. We wouldn’t stay again.

No em va agradar Some off the people on site, camping! Swearing and threatening to hot Thier children if they didn't shut up. Also another incident where some young girls were reporting an indecent where they wanted security to which there was none they were told as they believed a young child was getting beaten, to which the receptionist said we are aware and the boy has done something really bad and the girls reporting it was like no it's not ok as we can here screaming, thudding and Simon's getting really hurt so then another receptionist said it's one of our season holders so maybe we should call the police- never seen police arrive.

Em va agradar We liked the variety of pitches available and being allowed to choose ourselves where we wanted to pitch our tent (some locations quieter than others)
The close proximity to the beach, enabling us to walk there and back.
The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

No em va agradar Some areas visible to visitors were very untidy.
There was no security at all to the site near the top of the dog exercising area (able to walk straight on!)

Em va agradar Outdoor pool, good size super pitches with privacy.

No em va agradar Showers poor due to not staying on for longer than 5 seconds and not powerful.
Not ideal with young children.

Em va agradar This is a large centre with lots of nearby activities for families.

No em va agradar Some of the onsite facilities like the bicycle jumps was unavailable and that was one of the selling points why I booked this centre.

Em va agradar Cleaned, spacious pitches, helpful staff, great entertainment and activities. Local to a lot of attractions and centre point for different days out.

Em va agradar Size of camping pitches, great facilities on site. Short 15min walk to beach. Great showers and clean toilets. Being able to select your pitch on arrival.

No em va agradar Electric hook up supplied via an app...not great if you cant get phone service to do it! Two of the connections wouldnt work, took over hour to sort!
Ants...loads of them on our pitch got everywhere but thats just nature and likely due to hot weather we've had.
Price of beer..£6 for a pint in a plastic glass
Not much for older kids

We’re sorry that getting your electric hook-up activated caused frustration and took longer than it should have. Our team are always available to assist with the electricity app or connection issues where needed.

Unfortunately, the recent hot weather has certainly brought the ants out in force, particularly on grass pitches, so we appreciate your understanding that sometimes nature likes to join the holiday too! 🐜

Em va agradar Great location and facilities, the otches are generous, washrooms immaculate most of the time. The marquee field was next to us and ideally placed for snacks and a drink with entertainment. Maybe a bit pricey but that's reflected in the facilities. Walk down to the beach, catch the #11 bus back up....lol

Decent facilities

No em va agradar Can only book the pool by the site app which would be great if you could get any signal. Went to reception who advised no other way of booking other than by app. Which we thought was poor. Bit disappointed to read there would be an additional £50 if you hadn’t checked out and left by 11:00am, again a bit regimental!

We’re sorry that the pool booking system caused frustration, particularly when you were experiencing poor mobile signal. We appreciate that relying on apps for both swimming and electricity may not suit everyone, and understand your comments regarding Wi-Fi availability when online systems are required.

Our departure time is in place to allow our teams sufficient time to prepare pitches and accommodation for arriving guests, although we appreciate the wording around late departure charges may have felt a little strict.

We’re disappointed that these aspects have left you feeling you wouldn’t return. Your comments regarding the apps, Wi-Fi, electricity system and overall guest experience are valuable and will be passed on to the relevant teams for consideration.
