Aquest càmping té instal·lacions excepcionals, especialment els lavabos, i unes vistes escèniques impressionants. Els visitants valoren la cafeteria, botiga i pub propers. Em va agradar Cafe is great. Campsite is like a Nazi concentration camp. Pitch black. Crazy rules and the toilets were shut.

No plugs in the sinks. No bins near the sinks.

Very rude / aggressive owner.

Em va agradar Location was good
Pitch size good
Facilities were new and clean
Cafe food was nice

No em va agradar The toilets and shower facilities were closed off, we presume because it was low season so we could only use the two disabled toilets. These facilities had 1 single hook, no where to put any clothes or wash things, the sink was a tiny hand wash sink which was very low down and therefore difficult to wash in. It was very disappointing as one of the reasons we booked this site was because the shower block looked lovely. There are also signs up to remove outdoor footwear before entering the shower facilities which i understand they want to keep the facilities in good condition but this is a campsite.
The on site cafe is not dog friendly, thankfully it was pleasant enough to sit outside but we would have preferred inside. Another of the reasons we had chosen this site was for the cafe but again we couldn't use it properly. It looked lovely, all very new.
There are no lights at all on the campsite
The outdoor washing up stations could do with a bin

Em va agradar Beautifully maintained site
The two bathrooms available (disabled unisex) to use were very well equipped and clean which may have been because of the ban on wearing outdoor shoes in the building with CCTV for monitoring.

No em va agradar Customer service, met by a dower young man who was keen to read the list of the do’s and do not’s on the provided leaflet.
Ensured the information was given as quickly as possible and that I had taken in all the rules.
Upselling is a major part of the business model.
Unable to comment on the whole bathroom facilities as they were closed off during our visit as only seven or eight pitches in use so these all shared the two toilets.
Given the customer service didn’t improve, the list of regulations, CCTV for enforcement and highest cost of the four IOW sites we stayed at (not the best) we found it all too oppressive for an enjoyable break.

Em va agradar Immaculate well laid out site.

No em va agradar Showers! 100% clean but the shower heads are way too high and the shower heads need descaling as the water comes out everywhere. Only wanted a quick shower without washing my hair - impossible.

And don't understand why we had to pay extra for a wind out awning within the pitch size allocation.

Em va agradar Such a well presented and managed site! Great cafe, communal facilities and shop. This site is just lovely.

No em va agradar Unfortunately we were there at the same time as a school who made the communal facilities feel and sound like a school changing room. No fault of the site owners but it wasn’t the “quiet site” vibe.

Stoats Farm is starting point for scenic strolls along the Isle of Wight’s coastal paths, or you can follow the Tennyson Trail, a 15-mile walk from Carisbrooke Castle (25 minutes’ drive) to The Needles chalk stacks. If the kids have behaved, treat them to the stomach-churning chairlift ride over the sea at The Needles Landmark Attraction (five minutes). When they’ve still got energy to spare, let them run riot on the beach at Freshwater Bay (five minutes), and if that doesn’t do the trick, wear them out on the rides and go-karts at Tapnell Farm Park (10 minutes). Change the pace with a tour of handsome Osborne (40 minutes), the mansion built for Queen Victoria in 1845, or learn about Alfred, Lord Tennyson at Farringford Historic House and Gardens (10 minutes). And don’t forget the Isle of Wight is small: you can rummage around indie boutiques in Yarmouth (15 minutes) or Ryde (40 minutes) and still have oodles of time to pop into the arcades on Shanklin Beach’s prom (also 40 minutes).
