Em va agradar Everything. Was here the previous week for the first time with a friend, loved it that much I came back the following weekend with my son.
He had a great time. Walking. We went on the quadbikes that you can hire. Enjoyed evenings round the firepit, mornings in the tent listening to the birds, and daytimes wondering around the grounds.
I want to start wild camping and this place feels like the perfect introduction into that. Hosts are great. Attentive and friendly.

Em va agradar Absolutely loved everything about this place. Its definitely my new favourite site.
The woodlands make you feel like your wild camping. Some great spots to pitch up there and we didnt even get all the way round to see them all. The toilet is situated at the woodlands car park, so depending how far into the woods you go, theres a short walk to it. The toilet was spotless.
Really nice walks round there where you seem to just keep stumbling upon new lakes and ponds.
The gentleman who runs it is great. Really friendly, comes to check in on you before it drops dark.

No em va agradar We came abit late and the guy who works there was so rude to us And he didn’t even lets us camp where we booked he even told is we make small noise i want you to go out beside people around were making noise we had no problem with is the fact that the guy was very rude to us even though we apologised that we came late because we had a problem with the tyre

Del gerent: I was not rude. You turned up at 22:45. No phone call before at all. Check in closes at 8pm. You turned up almost 3 hours late, at basically 11pm. You’re lucky I let you on site, as many campsites wouldn’t.
After letting you on and placing you on the field and asking you to quietly put your tent up because it’s super late. You complained “but we booked woodland” - I explained how lucky you were I’d even let you on site, no way you’re going into the woods to set up at this time of night (especially as you’re here for one night)
Fast forward to the following day, check out is 10am, at 13:00 I had to ask you to please start packing up, oh and you had one extra person that you didn’t even pay for so you owe me money there.
But yeah. 1 out of 10. I should never have let you on in hindsight. Absolute jokers.

Em va agradar Second year coming here for a couple of nights with my son and we love it. Love the woodland pitches and love the fishing. Plenty of room for my son to ride his bike around and plenty of fish for me to ‘try’ and catch.
