What customers say
Stunning, roomy campsite with a "nearly wild" vibe. Woodland, lakeside, meadow pitches. Friendly staff, clean facilities (basic). Loads to do: fishing, swimming, quad biking. Muddy tracks and occasional loo roll/hot water issues noted. A few reckon it needs a "spruce up" or has litter issues. Peaceful, natural – guests keen to return.

Liked Second year coming here for a couple of nights with my son and we love it. Love the woodland pitches and love the fishing. Plenty of room for my son to ride his bike around and plenty of fish for me to ‘try’ and catch.
Disliked One word nothing! It’s just great!

Fantastic nearly-wild site; Tranquil; Friendly; Recommended!!!
Lakeside unpowered grass tent site (medium)
Liked Beautiful setting, friendly atmosphere with helpful attentive staff… they go the extra mile to make sure that you’re enjoying your stay and have a great attitude for how they treat the site and its visitors - rules are sensible and are there to ensure everyone’s safety and enjoyment, but not so restrictive as to not recognise that you should take responsibility for yourself! Facilities are basic but scrupulously clean especially for a wild(ish) camp. This is our second stay and we will definitely be booking again!!!
