喜欢 The friendly welcome, the location was perfect for us to visit relatives in Mere. The toilet and shower block was clean and well maintained.

不喜欢 The water in the dishwash area was not very hot

来自经理: Hi Stephen Thank you for your feedback. We pride ourselves on the toilet/shower block as being campers ourselves we always check the toilets when we arrive on a campsite. Not sue what happened to the water in the dishwash area, we will have to check that one out. Carl & Steph

喜欢 This municipal site had level pitches with great toilet and shower block. We received a very warm welcome by the staff who were friendly and very helpful. There is a supermarket within easy walking distance and nice walk into town with a river for the dog to splash around in. Good location to explore the wind region.

喜欢 Very warm welcome with very friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking distance to the lake and local supermarket. Laundry facilities and dish wash facilities. Enjoyed the fresh pastries in the morning

不喜欢 Toilet and showers very basic

喜欢 The location was just what we wanted. The site was level and offered plenty of shade and had fully serviced pitches. There were no toilet or shower which was made very clear when booking.

不喜欢 We were unlucky and the owners were away when we arrived so the Champagne bar was not open.

喜欢 This is a small adults only site that offered a great welcome by the owners, they were very helpful and friendly. The toilet and shower were well maintained and very clean. The restaurant was first class serving authentic Italian dishes. Great walk to the next village through the woods ideal for the dog

喜欢 Great location the receptionist was very helpful. The swimming pool was a bonus. The location 5 minutes walk from Lake Garda is amazing. This is a beach and sun type of location. The toilet block was good and regularly cleaned.

不喜欢 The heat during our time there was intense, not the place to take a dog. There was no toilet paper in the toilets

喜欢 The owner was very welcoming and helpful, gave a tour of the site and the pitch options. Right next to Lake Ghirla with its own private beach. We both went swimming every day, and the dog. The on site bar was very friendly and served a great pizza. Fresh croissants each morning. The owner’s son was very helpful, with places to visit in the area including the best supermarket. The toilet and showers were good

不喜欢 Only cold water for washing up

喜欢 Great location with good size level pitch. The toilet block was good and kept clean. The site is next to the river and great for a swim and dog friendly. Plenty of good walks in the area.

喜欢 The bar on site was great for meeting fellow travellers, the first night we were there the local were in fancy dress which made for a great atmosphere. Fresh croissants in the morning

不喜欢 The toilet block was poor and in need of modernisation. No hot water for washing up.

喜欢 We received a great welcome and were shown the layout of the site. The farm shop was well stocked with a variety of products. The unisex toilet block worked very well with plenty of hot water

不喜欢 the pitch was untidy and uneven.

喜欢 The welcome when we arrived, the layout of the site was great with some tent pitches hidden in the trees. Great area to exercise our dog.

不喜欢 The shower blocks a little tired and would improve the overall stay if they were modernised

喜欢 This is the 4th time we have visited portisham. Site is very clean and tidy, staff are allways friendly and cheerful, lovely pub great meals just outside, on site vending machines are good, but a shop just over the road. With excellent walks around you.

来自经理: Many thanks for your very kind review and 10/10 overall score. We look forward to seeing you both and dog again for another stay.

喜欢 A friendly welcome by the staff who were helpful and cheerful throughout our stay. The toilet block had good hot water including the dish washing, cleaned regularly. The laundry was very useful. The forest location was good with plenty of walks and exercise for the dog.

不喜欢 The bus stop was not within easy walking distance.

喜欢 The pitches were nice and level, the toilet/shower were hot both water and room and well maintained. The bus into York stopped outside the site entrance.

不喜欢 The condition of the road around the site. With no reception makes the visit a little impersonal.

喜欢 Ailsa was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, and very proud of their farm animals. The site was small but all the facilities were very clean and well maintained. All the gravel pitches overlooked the fishing lake and close to the loo. The bus into Lincoln stopped outside the site entrance and brought us back to the entrance later in the day. The local nature reserve was within easy walking distance and we saw a heron, barn owl and cormorant flying overhead. We had a great stay.

喜欢 The food in the pub was amazing. The staff were very friendly couldn’t do enough. We loved the trivia pursuits cards on the table had a great game while waiting for food. The showers in the ladies were amazing so hot best I have had. It was also so good to see the pub raising so much for charity, I bought a knitted Santa for my van in aid of guide dogs.

不喜欢 The pitches weren’t marked very clear but that’s a bit picky.

喜欢 This site is in a great location with first class facilities. The shower block was kept spotlessly clean, as was the site generally. There was a laundry and drying room, great after a wet walk. We received a very friendly welcome and all the staff would stop and chat. The pitch was level with plenty of space. There was a bus stop right next to the site entrance with buses running regularly to Conniston one way and Keswick the other way. All in all a great stay.

喜欢 Gregg was on site to greet us with a smile, showing us the camp layout and facilities. He was always around to answer questions and help with local details. The toilets and showers were first class and well maintained. The site is well placed for the bus stop, just at the end of the lane.

不喜欢 Room for improvement would be Wi-Fi and a bigger area for a dog exercise area
