Do gestor: Hi Stephen Thank you for your feedback. We pride ourselves on the toilet/shower block as being campers ourselves we always check the toilets when we arrive on a campsite. Not sue what happened to the water in the dishwash area, we will have to check that one out. Carl & Steph

Gostou This municipal site had level pitches with great toilet and shower block. We received a very warm welcome by the staff who were friendly and very helpful. There is a supermarket within easy walking distance and nice walk into town with a river for the dog to splash around in. Good location to explore the wind region.

Gostou The location was just what we wanted. The site was level and offered plenty of shade and had fully serviced pitches. There were no toilet or shower which was made very clear when booking.

Não gostou We were unlucky and the owners were away when we arrived so the Champagne bar was not open.

Gostou Great location the receptionist was very helpful. The swimming pool was a bonus. The location 5 minutes walk from Lake Garda is amazing. This is a beach and sun type of location. The toilet block was good and regularly cleaned.

Não gostou The heat during our time there was intense, not the place to take a dog. There was no toilet paper in the toilets

Gostou The owner was very welcoming and helpful, gave a tour of the site and the pitch options. Right next to Lake Ghirla with its own private beach. We both went swimming every day, and the dog. The on site bar was very friendly and served a great pizza. Fresh croissants each morning. The owner’s son was very helpful, with places to visit in the area including the best supermarket. The toilet and showers were good

Não gostou Only cold water for washing up

Gostou The welcome when we arrived, the layout of the site was great with some tent pitches hidden in the trees. Great area to exercise our dog.

Não gostou The shower blocks a little tired and would improve the overall stay if they were modernised

Gostou The pitches were nice and level, the toilet/shower were hot both water and room and well maintained. The bus into York stopped outside the site entrance.

Não gostou The condition of the road around the site. With no reception makes the visit a little impersonal.

Gostou Ailsa was very welcoming, friendly and helpful, and very proud of their farm animals. The site was small but all the facilities were very clean and well maintained. All the gravel pitches overlooked the fishing lake and close to the loo. The bus into Lincoln stopped outside the site entrance and brought us back to the entrance later in the day. The local nature reserve was within easy walking distance and we saw a heron, barn owl and cormorant flying overhead. We had a great stay.

Gostou The food in the pub was amazing. The staff were very friendly couldn’t do enough. We loved the trivia pursuits cards on the table had a great game while waiting for food. The showers in the ladies were amazing so hot best I have had. It was also so good to see the pub raising so much for charity, I bought a knitted Santa for my van in aid of guide dogs.

Não gostou The pitches weren’t marked very clear but that’s a bit picky.

Gostou This site is in a great location with first class facilities. The shower block was kept spotlessly clean, as was the site generally. There was a laundry and drying room, great after a wet walk. We received a very friendly welcome and all the staff would stop and chat. The pitch was level with plenty of space. There was a bus stop right next to the site entrance with buses running regularly to Conniston one way and Keswick the other way. All in all a great stay.

Gostou Gregg was on site to greet us with a smile, showing us the camp layout and facilities. He was always around to answer questions and help with local details. The toilets and showers were first class and well maintained. The site is well placed for the bus stop, just at the end of the lane.

Não gostou Room for improvement would be Wi-Fi and a bigger area for a dog exercise area
