喜欢 Lovely welcome from the owner Val, what a lovely lady......pitch was spacious ideal for us to put up the awning, toilet and shower block clean and tidy.....great pub 1 mile down the road, called The Mended Drum....great welcome and awesome food...brilliant bus service into York.....thanks Val for making our weekend 😀

喜欢 Lovely site and a very warm welcome. Fab view over fields. Nice and peaceful. Owners are utterly lovely, even checked in on me and waved me off too. Will definitely be back. Nice to feel secure as a solo camper.

喜欢 Spacious good flat pitch, facilities were basic but clean. It had everything we needed and the mended drum pub about half a mile away does great burgers and cask beer.

喜欢 Very spacious, very friendly owners and HOT showers. Good location and good value.

不喜欢 Showers close at 8pm and there was often a queue.

喜欢 It is a lovely quiet camp site with some amazing dog walks on its door step. The facilities are clean and looked after through the day. The couple who run it are very friendly and absolutely lovely. Booking was easy and stress free and so was checking in on arrival.

不喜欢 Shower was locked 2000hrs to 0800hrs I understand why but I do normally shower before bed.

喜欢 The owner comes round once a day making sure you have everything and are comfortable.

不喜欢 Limited shower time in peak times could do with more

喜欢 Showers were very clean, the owner of the land was really helpful, lent us a washbowl when needed, recommended beautiful local walks and provided us a lovely barbecue. The sheep next to the site were so cute and friendly and the location was perfect. Easingwold is a bus ride away (the 40) so even without a car we were able to get around and see the nature and parks.

喜欢 Spacious field and choice of pitch

不喜欢 Only 2 toilet cubicles and 2 showers (in 1 room with a lock so only one person can use at a time)

喜欢 Spacious tent pitch with lots of open space for the kids to run around. Clean toilet block which always had toilet roll.

不喜欢 Nowhere to wash up.

喜欢 A nice campsite in a quiet village with a lovely host who couldn’t do enough for you.

不喜欢 Separate male and female toilets and showers would be my preference.
