Ik was blij met Super. Owners friendly and very helpful and it was an easy walk to the lovely local pub.

Would recommend looking at the WC facilities (shelves, hooks, table in toilets) as nowhere to place things when just having a wash etc, but no deal breaker, just make it easier.
Would defo go back.

Ik was blij met On arrival Val was very helpful, very friendly lady. The pitch was perfect . Lovely and peaceful. Toilets nice and clean .
All in all definitely a lovely camp site . We stayed in our tent but the cabins looked fabulous . Well spaced apart . Great for families.

Ik was niet blij met The lack of drying equipment In toilets the lack of utilities for washing in the shower blocks the lack of pot wash the showers closing at 8pm until 8am and the fact visitors get charged but have to leave by 6

Van de manager: hi i am sorry you did not enjoy visitors have to be off at 6 00 we need to know when they are on for our insurance . this is a BASIC site it tells you on our page . our showers are open after 8 00 majority of the time and you can get the key off us , the reason we started closing them was because we had trouble with children causing damage late at night. it tells you on our site info we have no washing up facilities , we are in the prossess of getting planing for a new block .

Ik was blij met Great for kids to run around and enjoy themselves. Toilets and shower block kept very clean and always stocked up with loo roll. Bins emptied regularly and Val was very helpful and friendly. A family member was staying in the huts and they were great will definitely try these for a night next time.

Ik was niet blij met Road is a little noisy beside the camp sometimes but this didn’t stop us from getting a good night sleeps.

Ik was blij met Nice and quiet site, lovely pub walking distance (15min walk) dogs friendly with great food and craft beer (Salt, Northern Monk..). 15min walk to bus station which can take you to York. Small shop in village. Basic but clean facilities, friendly staff. Fire pit for free to rent and wood £5. Definitely recommended

Ik was blij met Val and the family were wonderful, super friendly and couldn't do more for you. The site itself is basic but it immaculately clean and well-maintained

Ik was niet blij met Not a dislike at all but more of a suggestion. I feel like the booking/location information would benefit from a what3words (or something to that effect). The postcode for the site took us to the correct road via sat-nav but we were still about 5 minutes away and had to call ahead for directions.

Ik was blij met Everything! We love camping but very last minute booked the cabin for an easier get away, and that is absolutely what we had! Not to mention the comfiest bed in the world!
Another added bonus for us was the privacy you get with the cabin which is set away from the camping/caravan area. Val and her husband are great! My little boy loved how lovely they were.
Pleased with the toilets and that they weren’t portaloos. Honestly, cannot fault a single thing. We will definitely be back with family!
