喜欢 Had an amazing weekend on the site.

不喜欢 Cleanliness of the toilets, but I can appreciate how hard it is too keep them clean with so many campers.

喜欢 Beautiful location surrounded by stunning hills. It has a river to paddle in and a train line to watch the trains go by. A nice 15 min walk along the river into the small town.Good short grass and soft soil so easy to pitch tent.The toilets and showers are smart, well stocked and kept clean, but there are only 3 (plus a urinal) which did cause a long queue in the morning / evening. The little kitchen area is great with a fridge and freezer, a kettle and toaster, but there are only 2 washing-up sinks , which again meant a long queue at times. Also to note that there is no water in the larger field (over the river), so remember to fill up when you arrive as it's a long walk back to the stand pipe. This is a fabulous site when it's quiet, the owners are lovely and obviously work hard, but there are just not enough facilities for the amount of people here at the start of the school holidays.

喜欢 Perfect pitch by the river... fabulous for our dog in the hot weather☀️. Great showers and communal facilities. The Offa's Dyke footpath goes through the campsite, so v easy to access.
Walking distance to Knighton... v convenient for shops and eating out.

喜欢 Perfect.site for going on a long walk and then relaxing afterwards.
Wonderful large field and you can choose where to pitch, so you will not feel crowded. Lots of space in the middle for kids to play and a small beach by the river for cooling off in the water.

Quiet and relaxed in the evening and you can watch the swallows swooping down over.the field.

The walks are straight off the site.amd from the top of the hill you will get spectacular views. Walk along the river into town is only 10 minutes with plenty of places to eat once you're there.

Facilities are good and showers were hot... important after a long trek.

不喜欢 Nothing. Just a note to those with campervans. The tap is near reception, quite a way from the field. Make sure you put water in the van before pitching up....otherwise you're arms will be getting a work out going back and forth.

喜欢 a nice easy going relaxed place to stay, toilet and shower block modern and clean, unexpected bonus of kettle, microwave and fridge/freezer available. food van at the weekend was good.

喜欢 Fantastic stay. This is our second visit here. 10 min walk to town with pubs and a shop (plus Chippy) along the river.
Lovely site with loads of space, we stayed next to river so kids can play. Lovely clean toilets and showers.
Good food on site, we sadly missed the breakfast baps due to a long walk from site, but enjoyed the lunchtime panini’s and the ice cream is quality.
Will def stay again and have recommend to friends and family to join us next time. Thanks again.

喜欢 Can pick where you want to pitch. Staff are super friendly, there is a cafe for sandwiches coffee and ice cream, local eggs to buy, etc. Washing facilities as well as plug sockets to charge phones (we plugged in our toaster), a kettle for instant(ISH) hot water. Just feel like they have thought of everything.
In addition the path to knighton takes about 15 minutes to walk and the path is beautiful, knighton is friendly, we tried a couple of pubs and coffee shops as well as walks in the area, all in all a fabulous stay

喜欢 Had booked 2 days decided to stay 7 as for me and my dog it was a perfect for walking , it’s a relaxing easy going site , plenty of space even on busier weekends , I have an off grid van no problems . There are toilets and showers and the owner is going to install more toilets and a disposal waste point which will perfect .

喜欢 This is an awesome campsite. There was discount for not having a car which is great as Knighton train station is just a mile away.
The facilities on site are clean and more than adequate.

I particularly enjoyed camping next to the river Teme, watching the resident kingfishers amongst a variety of other wildlife all doing their thing.

There are plenty of footpaths, bridlepaths and national trails to explore so had a fantastic time hiking and exploring castle ruins.
