Tyckte om We love this site and have stayed here a few times. Its only around an hour from home but is very peaceful and has a lovely woodland area to walk the dogs or just explore by yourself. It has a few service areas around the site but as it was winter only 1 or the service areas was available. This was absolutely fine with us as it was not that far from where we were set up. You will need a decent torch for early morning or late night if it's dark as there is very little lighting. We like this as no light pollution! Ruth is very helpful and very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Tyckte inte om Not really a dislike but if you are someone who need wifi or phone signal then beware. We are both on O2 and our phones worked on and off but quite slow due to lack of signal. There is wifi at the site but only the pitches near to the reception block seem to be able to get signal (we have been close to reception before and used the wifi but this time we were further away and it wouldn't work).

This is something that we are constantly working at improving and we keep the wifi free for all our customers. As you pointed out, the strength of signal depends on where you are on the park, how many people we have in and what is going on at the show ground. We are sorry if this inconvenienced you. We apologise for there only being one service point open. We do shut the bottom ones during the winter as they tend to freeze. We normally do put our customers at the top of the park and nearer to the open service points as much as possible when it is cold and dark, but as you were late in, we put you on pitch 16 as it was an easier one to find with the map and late arrivals email. We do appreciate that this was a long way to walk but would have been happy to move you closer had you asked.
