Tyckte om The site is vey spacious with large pitches, the swimming pool is amazing, very clean and a bonus facility on a campsite. The staff are lovely and very helpful, we decided to extend our stay and thankfully didn’t have to move pitches and they reorganised our ferry tickets. The site is in a great location, close to a Morrisons and easy access to the islands attractions.

Tyckte inte om Tractors with trailers were going through the site as early as 5am, even on a Saturday which were very loud and woke everyone up but you got used to it.
A communal fridge would be a great addition.

Tyckte om It was great for the Children and we had a really enjoyable visit, we had plenty of room on our pitch and we were close to the pool and park which was great for the children.
facilities were clean and children enjoyed the pool, park and the games room.
If you are traveling in a car we found that it was a great location to where we needed, its also close to supermarkets.
we have previously stayed here and this was our return holiday.

Tyckte om We just returned home from 10 incredible days camping at Ninham. We had the best time! The site is beautiful and so well looked after, the staff are helpful and kind, the toilets & showers are always clean. The swimming pool was an excellent addition to the playgrounds, games room and outdoor sports areas.


We loved our pitch number 13 in a beautiful setting with areas of long grass and trees and well located between pool & shower block.

Tyckte om What an absolutely beautiful campsite. The pitches were large and spaced well. The grounds were well kept, it was very tidy. The shower block was very clean and lots of showers and toilets so no need to wait. The washing up area was also very clean and tidy, everyone kept it clean and rinsed the sinks after use. There was plenty of hot water for washing up too. The ice block hire for 50p was great. We didn't have children, but there was a lovely play area and games room, plus a swimming pool you could book. We were in the Orchard so it was lovely to have the shade of some trees. There is no shop or clubhouse onsite so we felt it made the campsite more peaceful, but Lidl and Morrisons are a 15 minute walk or couple of minutes drive.
We decided not to use the car for the 5 day stay and instead used the Bridle paths to walk to Lidl and Shanklin, including Shanklin Beach. (about 40 mins to the beach). A 15-20 walk along the Bridle path took us to the train station where we picked up a bus to explore the Island more. The bus service was great with buses going every 30 minutes in various directions. We will definitely be returning.

Tyckte om Location was good for bus travel (20 minute walk on public footpath to busstop or Shanklin). Facilities good. Quiet location.

Tyckte inte om Difficult as backpacker to get to reception to check in. Unless you know in advance to get bus to Morrisons and walk public footpath for 20 minutes fully loaded to get to tent site, drop tent then walk back opposite direction to Reception to check in, it is easier to get expensive taxi from Newport. Worse if you have roll along bag as 1km gravel driveway and walk in road from Sandown Airport bus stop. Problem would be part alleviated by having a trolley with large wheels (like in boatyards) by the front gate to put your gear in and wheel to reception. Plus, better footpath information required for first time backpackers.

Tyckte om Fantastic campsite , large pitches , plenty of open space, excellent facilities with numerous showers, toilets etc. Outdoor pool, games n tv rooms . Going to book for next year and take my grandson , the IOWis very child friendly.
