Tyckte om Easy friendly check in. Good pitch with electric hook up. Lovely green site by the river. Visits from the friendly ducks and ducklings. Short walk into Wooler (albeit up a fairly steep hill) Nearby distillery well worth a visit and if not it’s restaurant certainly is.

Tyckte inte om Bar lacked atmosphere and drinks expensive for not very good wine and beer. Can’t comment on food as they stop serving at 8 so weren’t able to eat there.

The ducks were canny!!

Toilets dated, but are clean!!
Some caravans, motorhomes etc seemed to be quite close together!!
The site is really big, but, the pub and shop are off site!!

Tyckte inte om Too busy compared with other sites we stayed at. Children tearing round on bikes with no lights. CHILDREN CHASING AND TEASING THE DUCKS WHO HAD DUCKLINGS WITH THEM. Not a site we would visit again. Might have been due to it being Friday night.

Tyckte om Lovely site, Reception staff were wonderful we stayed in a pos which was fantastic, just took our own camping beds and cooking things. It had a light bedside table and a fridge. Riverside bar and arcade is close by. Toilets cleaned often, key drop off for early departure.

Tyckte om Friendly reception staff, good facilities with bar, bar food, sandwich shop, swimming pool, close to Wooler village. Showers and toilets were very clean.

Every morning at 9am on the dot the ground keepers were out with the leaf blowers.
