What customers say
Awesome riverside spot near Wooler, with helpful staff and roomy pitches. Toilets/showers are a bit dated though, and some found pitch spacing and road-crossing to amenities a bother. Still, great value for many, and they'd come back.

Ok as a cheap base but bring earplugs and a camping chair.
Camping pod
Liked Cheap accommodation, Showers and loos were clean.
Disliked Late night noise, general lack of privacy as pod 3 is a bit of a thoroughfare for recycling and part of site. Close to road so noisy. Left a night early as no sleep.

Lovely location clean facilities if a bit dated. Good pitches.

Liked Easy friendly check in. Good pitch with electric hook up. Lovely green site by the river. Visits from the friendly ducks and ducklings. Short walk into Wooler (albeit up a fairly steep hill) Nearby distillery well worth a visit and if not it’s restaurant certainly is.
Disliked Bar lacked atmosphere and drinks expensive for not very good wine and beer. Can’t comment on food as they stop serving at 8 so weren’t able to eat there.

Liked Not a lot.
Disliked Too busy compared with other sites we stayed at. Children tearing round on bikes with no lights. CHILDREN CHASING AND TEASING THE DUCKS WHO HAD DUCKLINGS WITH THEM. Not a site we would visit again. Might have been due to it being Friday night.

Lovely site perfect for exploring
Camping pod
Liked Lovely site, Reception staff were wonderful we stayed in a pos which was fantastic, just took our own camping beds and cooking things. It had a light bedside table and a fridge. Riverside bar and arcade is close by. Toilets cleaned often, key drop off for early departure.
Disliked Toilets needed a deep clean of ceiling and in showers.
