Tyckte inte om If we were there longer we would have put our Awning up , which would have not been good . Our pitch and others have a small area to the side of the caravan but not enough which meant the awing would be spread across grass and gravel.

We're delighted you enjoyed your stay at Briarfields and appreciated our convenient location, spotless shower and toilet facilities, and our newly opened Orchard Bar & Kitchen. It's wonderful to hear the bar was an added bonus!

Thank you also for your comments about the space for an awning. Our fully serviced pitches are approximately 11.5m x 8.2m overall, with a designated gravel hardstanding area, and we do advise in our booking information that we can accommodate awnings up to a maximum depth of 2 metres.

The majority of our caravan guests are able to use their awnings successfully, although positioning the caravan correctly on the pitch can make quite a difference to the space available. The adjoining grass areas need to remain clear for fire safety reasons, so awnings must be contained within the designated hardstanding area.

We're sorry you felt there wouldn't have been sufficient room on your particular pitch, and we do wish we'd had the opportunity to have a look with you during your stay, as we may have been able to offer some helpful advice.

Most importantly, we're absolutely delighted to hear you loved Briarfields and are already looking at returning in December!

Tyckte om Location excellent very good is travelling (M5) also a base to visit local area. The site itself has to be the best I have stayed in. Toilets brilliant. Welcome from everyone working there great. They have a small bar on site open till 8pm thurs-fri. Great for a solo traveller like me to rest outside of van and meet people if I wanted. Warm, great music and well priced drinks. They plan to offer food soon. The site and facilities are brilliant even down to the decor. Even the arrival email info was faultless. Even the WiFi which is included worked enough for me to watch BBC which is unheard of.

We put an enormous amount of thought and care into the park, so hearing that those details have made such a difference to your experience is incredibly rewarding.

It's especially lovely to hear how much you enjoyed our newly opened Orchard Bar. One of our hopes when creating it was to provide a warm, welcoming space where guests could step away from their vans, enjoy a reasonably priced drink, listen to some good music and have a chat if they fancied one. Knowing that it provided exactly that for you as a solo traveller has really made us smile. And yes, we're looking forward to introducing food too!

We're also rather pleased that our Wi-Fi passed the BBC streaming test! We invested in a major upgrade last year, so it's wonderful to hear that it's making a real difference to our guests.

Thank you for your lovely comments about our team too. Everyone works incredibly hard to make Briarfields somewhere special, and I'll be sure to share your kind words with them all.

Tyckte om The pod was beautiful, spacious and well equipped. Communication was great, staff were lovely.
The bed was SO comfortable. Everything was super clean. Loved that we had individual seating areas outside and a place to eat inside. The clubhouse/bar was great and we enjoyed having a place to go without leaving the site.
Our stay was wonderful in every way and I have zero negative comments. We could not have been happier with our visit.

It's also lovely to hear you appreciated all the local information we provide, particularly the bus timetables. With such good transport links to Cheltenham and Gloucester, we love helping our guests make the most of the area without always needing to take their vehicles out.

We're sorry to hear you found the Wi-Fi signal a little weak. We invested in a complete upgrade of our Wi-Fi system at the end of last season, and feedback has generally been excellent, so it's disappointing to hear it wasn't quite up to scratch for you. We do wish you'd mentioned it during your stay, as we'd have been more than happy to investigate and see if we could resolve the issue for you.

Our pod location certainly makes things convenient, with reception and the shower facilities close by, while the excellent public transport, walking and cycle routes make it really easy to get out and explore the local area without always needing the car.
