Briarfields Touring Park

Μου άρεσε Lovely campsite with easy access to the M5 the pitches are level and have privacy hedges
The check in was easy and the site has number plate recognition.
The toilets and showers are lovely and modern and kept clean and tidy i loved the piped music so much nicer than listening to your neighbours ablutions
The site has an information room with detailed maps of local walks and pubs direct from the site
The site provides free WiFi but we didn't use it as our own WiFi worked fine
We got the 94 bus to Gloucester direct from the site entrance which runs every 15 mins up until around midnight
We walked to Cheltenham which is around 3 miles along the cycle path
We will definitely visit again so handy for Cheltenham races and festivals

Δεν μου άρεσε Not a dislike as such but due having easy access to the M5 there is some distant road noise ( motorbikes mainly) but it didn't spoil our stay and wouldn't stop us visiting again

Δεν μου άρεσε Pitches very tight.. we are new to touring this year .. this is the 8th site we’ve used and it the smallest pitch we’ve been on .. only one chemical disposal site.. for all the caravans and motor home .. I had to queue.. ( never done this before! ) .. toilet shower block closed a 11:00 to 1:00.. for cleaning.. I forgot and walked over the threshold and was shouted at by a lady.. not polite at all .. to use the disabled one .. ok but there was a chair holding the door of this open .. so it wasn’t very clear.. Ony 2 of the shower had a bench and partition.. these were in use .. so used the other ones .. just a flimsy shower curtain which was far from water resistant.. the water came underneath it .. making the whole area wet .. and a stool .. which was soaked by the previous person.. .. .. we booked 2 nights left after 1 .. not done this before..

All guests are provided with a park plan upon arrival, where all amenities and facilities including our two fully equipped service areas are clearly marked. We're sorry if this wasn’t as clear to you at the time, as we always aim to help guests feel informed and settled from the start.

With regard to the washroom cleaning schedule. I understand that you entered the building during the cleaning period, past the clearly displayed closed signs, and encountered one of our team members mid-clean. That team member was Joy, who many of our guests know and frequently praise for her warmth, helpfulness, and genuinely friendly nature. I can say with absolute confidence that Joy would never intentionally raise her voice or speak to a guest in a rude manner - it’s simply not in her character. She will be very upset to read your comments, as she takes great pride in making everyone feel welcome and cared for during their stay.

Our team consistently receives praise for their friendliness and approachability, and I know they’ll be very upset to read your comments, as they work incredibly hard to make every guest feel welcome and looked after.

Μου άρεσε Superb site with excellent amenities. Great views and large, flat pitches. Easy walk into town across the fields. Great to have the farm shop visit on the morning we stayed.

Μου άρεσε The site is really well-kept, clean bathrooms and very quiet. Staff were very accommodating.

Μου άρεσε Staff were lovely and friendly. Site was well kept. Facilities were fab, clean and modern. Pitch was level and electric hook up was easy to access. Site was in a great location to explore the surrounding area.

Μου άρεσε Excellent site. Well run. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Good sized pitches with beech hedging between each one. I liked the music playing in the shower/toilet block. Excellent WiFi. Excellent information before and on arrival. Close to a supermarket and pub. Bus route just outside the entrance to Cheltenham and Gloucester The site is situated just off the A40 so traffic could be a problem but ear-plugs overnight worked well. Definitely stay again.

Μου άρεσε Really enjoyed our stay in the glamping pod. It had everything we needed such as plates, cutlery, a fridge, plug sockets, a bed and a little table. Simple but had all the essentials.

The site was quiet and well-kept, and the toilets were honestly much cleaner than I expected. Everything felt tidy and looked after.

Great little break overall. Would definitely come back.

Μου άρεσε Excellent. The staff were very welcoming. Great showers, plenty of hot water. The toilet/shower block was kept very clean and tidy. J liked the music playing in the shower block. Easy access to Gloucester and Cheltenham. The pitches were level and a good size with beech hedging in between. Excellent wi-fi. Excellent information before arrival and on the day. Probably one of the best run sites we have been to. I only scored it 9 because the A40 was adjacent to the site, which made it very easy to access but noisy at night. This was helped by wearing ear-plugs at night. ASDA and a pub within walking distance (10 minutes away)
