Keen to make the most of everything north Norfolk has to offer on your holiday? Deer's Glade Caravan and Camping Park makes an excellent base for a break – this family-friendly spot is in a strategic location surrounded by woodland but about 10 minutes’ drive from both Aylsham and the coast at Cromer. That setting means you’ll be able to head straight out into the woods (and onto public footpaths beyond) for a peaceful walk whenever you like, but you’ll also be in a great position for getting out and about – to the beach, to the Broads National Park or to one of the area’s many attractions, be it a stately home, a steam railway or a family park. It’s not all about heading out though, as there are nine acres of land to explore right there on site, with the chance to spot deer in the woodland if you’re quiet (and a little bit lucky…). Guests are welcome to fish at the site’s lake, and there’s also a play area and a goat enclosure to keep younger family members amused. The site also has lots of handy facilities including a shop, a wifi service, a launderette, a chemical disposal point and bathrooms with toilets and showers (including wheelchair-accessible facilities). You can also hire e-bikes here for easy jaunts around the surrounding area – and perhaps to one of the lovely local pubs?

Gostou Fabulous campsite.
Tent and camper van friendly.
It's great its dog friendly.The staff are welcoming and it has everything you could want.
The pitches are great and boxed off for privacy.
The bathrooms are kept clean and fresh.
Love that they have goats and wild life around.Love the sound of birds in a morning and tea time.
Well kept site

Gostou Really lovely and well-maintained site making for a much-enjoyed stay. Excellent facilities and amenities as well as friendly and helpful staff. Shop has lots of local things as well as useful items for one's stay.

Gostou Family had an amazing time here! Staff were friendly and the facilities were spot on. Very clean and tidy the whole site is well maintained! The pitches were very large with enough privacy which is nice. Food van on site done decent food! Overall can not fault. We will be back!

Gostou We had a non-electric camping pitch which was nice and flat. The staff were very friendly, food trucks tasty and good facilities. The camp shop is well stocked and good value and the overall location is great for heading off for a walk on foot or driving up to the coastline. The non electric camping is fairly near the kids play park but we didn’t find this disturbed us at all.

Não gostou Not enough showers and toilets could do with at least another block i think although my timing was good I I did not have to wait.

Gostou The site was well organised and extremely clean. The shop was one of the best we have enjoyed and provided everything you could need. The staff were great and would do anything to help you out. We will definitely be coming back

Gostou Very spacious pitches with a privacy hedge around the boarders, very clean with excellent facilities and a fully stocked camp shop, great for families and close to Cromer if you fancy a walk on the beach with Fish and chips 😋

Atrações locais

It’s the coast that draws many visitors to north Norfolk – and you’ll be in a good position here to see plenty of its hotspots. Perhaps start in Cromer (10 minutes’ drive) for the beach and a bit of crabbing from the pier, have a quiet trip to Mundesley beach (20 minutes) or go seal-spotting from Blakeney (35 minutes). The Broads National Park is another popular spot, and it will take you about half an hour to get there for scenic walks and boat trips. If you’ve brought the kids, you may like to look at outings like BeWILDerwood Norfolk (half an hour) and ROARR! dinosaur park (35 minutes) – or perhaps a ride on either the Bure Valley Railway (10 minutes) or North Norfolk Railway (20 minutes). Those of you on more grownup breaks may instead like to turn your attention to the National Trust sites at Blickling Estate (10 minutes) and Felbrigg Hall, Gardens & Estate (15 minutes), or perhaps the royals’ favourite Sandringham Estate (an hour). Walks on Marriott's Way (10 minutes) and Weavers Way (20 minutes) are also options, as is a stroll around the historic centre of Norwich (35 minutes).
