A aimé Cafe on site, good clean showers and toilets

N'a pas aimé Unfortunately only 50 meters from main trunk road Ayr to Stranraer, so heavy traffic until 8 pm, quieter after 9:00pm, first lorries start again at 5:00 am. So ear plugs advised for light sleepers. Not ideal if in a tent, may be better in a camper van

Our location beside the A77 means traffic can be noticeable, especially for tent guests and light sleepers. A aimé Isolated, very quiet, v. good field in which to pitch, high trees surround the field keep low sun out.

N'a pas aimé Very basic toilets and outdoor wash up sink. Occassional plane overflight (5000') as under the Edinburgh airport flight path. Bring provisions to eat as shops not so near to get to.
