Gostou Quiet, well managed site with excellent facilities, good provision to entertain kids.

Não gostou Unfortunately the bar and cafe were not open when I visited. A situation common where may sites are busiest weds to sunday

Não gostou Unfortunately only 50 meters from main trunk road Ayr to Stranraer, so heavy traffic until 8 pm, quieter after 9:00pm, first lorries start again at 5:00 am. So ear plugs advised for light sleepers. Not ideal if in a tent, may be better in a camper van

Gostou Isolated, very quiet, v. good field in which to pitch, high trees surround the field keep low sun out.

Não gostou Very basic toilets and outdoor wash up sink. Occassional plane overflight (5000') as under the Edinburgh airport flight path. Bring provisions to eat as shops not so near to get to.
