Ik was niet blij met Unfortunately the bar and cafe were not open when I visited. A situation common where may sites are busiest weds to sunday

Ik was niet blij met Unfortunately only 50 meters from main trunk road Ayr to Stranraer, so heavy traffic until 8 pm, quieter after 9:00pm, first lorries start again at 5:00 am. So ear plugs advised for light sleepers. Not ideal if in a tent, may be better in a camper van

Ik was blij met Isolated, very quiet, v. good field in which to pitch, high trees surround the field keep low sun out.

Ik was niet blij met Very basic toilets and outdoor wash up sink. Occassional plane overflight (5000') as under the Edinburgh airport flight path. Bring provisions to eat as shops not so near to get to.
